Egersund is a town in Eigersund municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. The town is located along the southwestern coast of Norway, about 75 kilometres (47 mi) south of the city of Stavanger. The town is situated along a strait which separates the mainland from the island of Eigerøya. The 6.36-square-kilometre (1,570-acre) village has a population (2015) of 11,473 which gives the town a population density of 1,804 inhabitants per square kilometre (4,670/sq mi).

Enormous selection of beer; both local and foreign. Cozy interior og happy people behind the bar. The is one of the best bars (as well as restaurants) in Egersund. I and a group of fellow Brits were working over in Egersund for around 9 months over last year and early this year and the Kro was used as the local. The staff are all very friendly, the food good and of course the local brew is served here. Prices are no more expensive than other food outlets in Egersund and sitting outside in the terraced area is very pleasant even in the winter (gas heaters are put on).

Tried the gangster tacos tortillas with pigs rib.It was amazing!The combinations of spices, juicy pork meat, the stingy herb dip and tasteful sweet potato chips all came together and created a great plate of mexican tastes and textures.I´m comming back, for sure!Hi, Thank you for taking your time to rate us. This warm summer, new branding of the place and Menu has moved this place some steps up. And the public respond to it. Over all lots of guest in this nice summer.And the menu has improved on its way up to more dinnerlike dishes. Even the wines has improved. Keep on in this direction. The town needs it.
