The chowder was perfectly madeâright amount of salt, perfectly cut potatoes, perfectly diced clams. My husband had the lobster roll and I had shrimp cocktail. Not the best shrimp cocktail Iâve ever had, but not bad. The lobster roll was delicious. They have a really good bar with great drink selectionsâwines, beers, vodkas, and tequilas. Checked out the loft upstairs and it was hopping. We left to get Backdoor Donuts, but would return to play darts, pool, etc. Great place.

Quality ingredients, large portions, great prices and the freshest Margaritas in a 175 seat restaurant that is fun for families, singles, couples, young and young at heart...Open YEAR ROUND for lunch and dinner. This is where the Locals go.
I always come back for my favorite dish here, chicken enchiladas. The service is fast and for me at 120lbs it is exactly 2 meals. Love being able to have it for dinner the next day.

We've been to Rockfish many times--during the summer tourist season, in the dead of winter, in the early spring. The menu change slightly, but some of the best items are always available: margherite flatbread, smoked wings. Nice surroundings, friendly service, a varied menu, reasonable prices, tasty food--all-around winner. (Note: eat upstairs where the views of the street are entertaining.

Let me set the scene. Take 1. Multiple Layovers. Take 2. A little rickety, loud 8-seater Cessna plane. First restaurant choice as a first-time on the island. Fish and chips was AH-mazing. The unexpected surprise was the Manager. If youâre ever in Edgartown youâll have great food at the Wharf and be in the company of a real-down to earth celeb! Best lunch conversation EVER!

We had the pork ribs for appetizer. They were excellent, shared a Caesar salad. Again, did not disappoint. Then for main course we had bangers and mash and macaroni and cheese. All of our courses we excellent. Wine and beer choices were sufficient. Service was excellent, would definitely recommend. Music that they played was also relaxing.Thank you for Visiting with us and the kind words. We love hearing from our customers , especially if we did our job well. Although here at the Newes we all feel at home and would like our customers to feel that way too.Thank you for writing such kind words. We are very pleased that you got to experience The Newes.Thank you

We appreciated dining outdoors at 19 Raw Oyster Bar. The service was exceptional...very accommodating, helpful and friendly. We shared an assortment of oysters prior to dinner. It was a nice presentation. Our meals were very good as well. We had completed our dining experience and we were checking out...when we noticed some desserts "wandering" past our table. A lemon cake looked incredible. So, we opened up a new check and ordered dessert....a smart move! We also ordered a limoncello which "19 Raw" doesn't offer but they managed to pull it off...going above and bejond. The evening was an exceptional experience. Enjoy!

Owned by local guys who care about the local economy The Port Hunter is a great addition to the Edgartown restaurant scene. We were three for dinner and I had fabulous cod fish tacos while the other two folks enjoyed the Vegatabowl. Each dish was prepared very carefully and was very fresh. The food was delish but the service was at yet another level. The staff is attentive and everyone has a job. Our waters running low, someone is right on it. Dishes need to be cleared, again someone is right on it. Food coming from the kitchen, there are two folks whose job is it to wipe each plate and make sure it looks professional. Want raw oysters, there are two people at the raw bar keeping it fresh and ready all the time. At one point we were curious how low our waters could go before being refilled, they never got below 75%! And it was not to the point of being annoying, it was professional and very well done. They do not take reservations unless you are a party of six; we were three on Monday night and got right in, but we did see lines later in the week. We will return for sure!

Join us for delicious dining on the beautiful Edgartown Harbor.
Visited here on Columbus Day weekend with my family. It was a nice evening so we got to sit outside and watch the Chappaquidick ferry go back and forth. I ordered the Lobster roll which was filled generously with lobster which had been lightly tossed with mayo and celery. The only issue was the roll wasn't very good and I found the lobster a bit salty. My wife and son tried the shrimp dumplings which were actually japanese style shumai and both liked them enough to order it a second time. My son also ordered a salmon sushi roll which he found to be quite tasty as well. The service was attentive but unobstrusive. Overall, a nice restaurant with something that will please almost anyone looking for a decent, reasonably (for MV) priced seafood meal.
