There was guy who waited on us when we arrived at 6pm on Thursday. We sat out on the back deck. The girls at the hostess station were polite. Service from the guy (donât know his name), was okay... after we started ordering- until then he kept swarming the table and we were feeling pressured. We were all here to reconnect after having moved away to different towns years ago, so we were not rushing. Then a girl took over when our meal was done. She was terrible, and unfriendly. Hated the fact that we were still there, or so it seemed, even though we kept ordering drinks(we were not driving!)! Then... after we had given the second person our credit cards, a third person came back with them and our receipts. How many people handle your card before you get it back?!?! Also... this person was as unfriendly as the second one. Interestingly enough, the one friend who lived in Eau Claire said she doesnât come here because the service always sucks. The other friend I was with who is from Madison said she came another time and the food was good, but couldnât remember service. I have been here many years ago, yet donât remember the service I got. Food was all good. We shared an order of cheese curds. One girlfriend had fish tacos with black beans on the side. Another ate the fish and chips which she found to be a huge amount of food, but very good! I had the beer battered fish sandwich which I really liked with the tomatoes, lettuce, tarter sauce and all. I ordered a side of their veggies which was a medley of green beans, peppers and onions, and I loved every bite. Thank you for taking the time to leave us such a detailed review. I am happy to hear that you enjoyed your food and I am disheartened to hear about the service you received, this is certainly not to our standards. I will be using this feedback for training purposes and again thank you for taking the time to let us know.

My friends and I were bopping around downtown Eau Claire after dinner enjoying the beautiful weather. This place was hopping! Jam packed on Thursday night. They have a lot of beer on tap- I think around 40 kinds! Our ears only tolerated the loud music for one beer and then we moved on.

We had fish in our group of 4. While it was good it was not the best weâve had. One of us took of breading because it was too thick. I ate it breaded and it was ok. Usually the food is pretty good here on the few times Iâve eaten there !

It had been awhile since we visited Court'n House. We went there to take advantage of the 2 for 1 burgers. I think the title of this review says it all. The burgers were OUTSTANDING, and cooked to perfection! Service was great. Gonna have to make sure we don't wait so long between visits.

We booked the restaurant from the road, realizing that after our drive from Madison we wouldnât want to venture out. What a great place!Our family of four shared a pizza and the charcuterie platter. Fantastic. The pizza crust was nice and thin and the sausage had the right amount of heat. The charcuterie was a really well done mix of sausages, cheeses, nuts and fresh and dried fruits. It also came with honey, mustard and crackers. One of the best weâve seen. The entire meal was super and the bill reasonable. The back of the menu lists all the places they source ingredients from - nice to see the farm-to-Table commitment. We would definitely eat here again.

Went to celebrate friends 50th Wedding Anniversary and great beer and wine selection. Had the New York Strip, green beans and dirty rice which was super. Friends had scallops and shrimp which they said was terrific. We ate outside which was nice.

I was able to secure late reservations for 2/14 at Houliganâs. There are few places that nail consistency like this restaurant. Never had a bad meal or bad service. We both had filets for dinner and the meat was cooked perfectly, as we ordered. This is a great restaurant that always keeps us coming back.

This restaurant offered wood-fired rotisserie grilled turkey during the last holiday.We enjoy their chicken prepared the same way so decided to try the turkey as a backup for our other items made at home - we had an open invitation this year and needed to be prepared for a larger group.We were pleasantly surprised - it was great! Juicy and tender, with great wood-fired flavor.Our regular turkey and Cornish hens were no match for the competition this bird doled out.We picked up the turkey and a dish of stuffing during the pre-arranged pickup time. Instructions came with for heating and the transaction was quick and easy at the restaurant.If they offer this again next holiday, we'll be sure to do this again.

First time at Milwaukee Burger Company and had a great experience! Server's name was Alejandro (Alex) and he was very pleasant & had a great personality. Place was packed for a fundraiser and I was served a beer quite quickly and ordered a cheeseburger. It was served in a timely manner, freshly made (not frozen) and hot. It was also delicious. They have several beers on tap and despite the frenzy of the fundraiser, all servers seemed to have it together. This is a great reflection on the manager of the restaurant. Thank you for a great visit! Will definitely be back to try some of the cheese curds others are raving about!We are so glad you enjoyed the food as well as everything else. I always order the Cowboy Sirloin (16oz). Although this time was a little light on the mushrooms. And they were small. I'm figuring that this was because this was the last of what they had before a new batch was made. Again the steak was done to my liking the first time and I picked out my steak at the front counter. Love the rolls too.
