We enjoyed a takeout pizza and a beer while waiting. Staff very friendly, pizza very tasty. Many beer choices. Small place, but you can sit outside in the garden area too. Dog friendly out there too. Only nine dollars for takeout pizza--what a deal! We took it to there gazebo for a music performance.

Very casual, on the water great Rum Drinks (I'm told from my kids). Perfect on the water spot for drinks and a casual/real casual lunch ie. hot dogs, etc. Only open between Memorial Day and Labor Day. Nice place to spend an afternoon.

The recent updates to the interior and a plus. The Lucy Burger is consistently, "real good"! As for other menu items they're been hit or miss. Staff is aways friendly but often as of late there to few staff and the once that are there are running crazy... Relaxed place with a good vibe. I hope more of the menu items become as consistently good as the Lucy Burger.

Wicks Park has been in Saugatuck for 10 years - lots of Food Choices for everyones taste is offer - Best happy hour in Town - 4:00 - 6:00 daily ) - Live music every Friday and Saturday night (Saturday night in the Fall and Winter Months) - Fun relaxed int
We chose this place as it had a few more interesting options on the menu rather than just burgers, sandwiches and pizza offered by most restaurants in town in this price bracket.I had the roasted cauliflower dish with shrimp and my husband the Wicks shrimp bowl which was quite Asian in flavour. Both were good but the Wicks shrimp was the winner. My husband also had a side of sweet potato fries cooked to perfection - crispy on the outside and soft inside. The house Cabernet Sauvignon was also very good.Wicks is located by the water at the edge of the town so we sat on the outside patio. My only criticism is that this could have been cleaner: my chair arms were sticky and I had an several fries at my feet.Service was reasonable but is rarely as attentive as if you choose to sit inside. I would eat here again if in town.

I love Wally's!Its a little quirky, but that adds to the charm. Service is always great. The best olive burger in town. Order the tots, they rock.Wally's is a good time and great food.

The Butler was a good choice with a well-rounded menu-- AT REASONABLE PRICES as compared to some other restaurants in Saugatuck. Being a large room it was a bit noisy but there were families, couples, and children all being served. Service was fast and orders were correct (!). I would go back again.

We are a family owned, full service restaurant in Saugatuck, MI that welcomes all of our guests with a smile and sometimes - a hug! Our staff are very special to us here. We have team members who have been with us since we opened the doors in 1995! They h
Our visit was after Labor Day. The water view is great. All available outside seating was in the sun.I think they gave up for the season, as we chose to eat inside, which had an abuntant fish odor, & lots of flies. Thus the lack of attention to details. Because of those problems, we left without ordering.

Monday night, August 19 @ 7:30 pm (not very busy)...My husband works for a beer distribution company. He's old school and is starting to hone his new career and get into the craft beers; he wanted to try many of Saugatuck Brewing's offerings he hadn't had yet, so we stopped in for dinner. I ordered a pint of Rosé cider; very good! My husband ordered a flight. They offer a three-tiered system (a flight of 6 tier 1 products costs $14/tiers 2 & 3 will be $16 [I believe]). Holy moly! Each beer he tried (and shared) got better and better! We both LOVED the blueberry beers; the blueberry lemonade shandy and the blueberry stout. I'm not even a blueberry fan and they were delicious. The potato chips and french onion dip was very good; a very unique dip. I ordered chicken strips (5 large, meaty pieces) and he had the bacon & cheddar burger with parmesan fries. We were stupid to order additional fries with our meal, we couldn't eat them! We were stuffed on good food, good drinks, and good service. We will be back (& we live over an hour away)!

Being unfamiliar with the charming town of Saugatuck, I met a friend for dinner at Phil's Bar & Grille because of its high rating by TripAdvisor reviewers. The restaurant, apparently located in a building which previously was a movie theater, had a certain design charm. On a week night in mid-October it was quite busy. Staff was cordial and helpful. However, my salmon entree was both unremarkable and forgettable.

Casual Dining with an Incredible Atmosphere. A One of a Kind West Michigan Restaurant with a Fantastic Fusion of Italian, French, Asian and American Cuisine.
We wanted to try something off the beaten strip of Saugatuck. Fantastic outdoor seating, very clean, and scenic. No water view but still nice. Iâm from Chicago so very picky on pizza, but they have a thin oven roasted thatâs different and good. One size, which is enough for family with one small child. Any more people would require multiple pizzas. Theyâre appetizers are on the fancy side and donât disappoint. Unfortunately I didnât try other entries but they look good, and wouldnât just consider this a pizza restaurant. It fits in well with the high end lake appearance of downtown Douglas. Free street parking is easy to find, so shooting right back to Saugatuck is no problem.
