For an inventive twist on classic gastropub favorites, Etzy's Bar & Bistro is Cape Codâs go-to spot. Experience innovative new-American eats, fabulous desserts, 24 craft beers on tap, wine, and craft cocktails -- all best enjoyed with friends in our warm,
We enjoy going to Etzy's periodically and I'd like to rate them as good. They exceed average but fall short of very good, in our opinion. But we'll round up.The wine list is rather broad, as you'd expect from a wine bar. They have a good variety of options and the bartenders are rather knowledgable about them. They boast a very strong set of options on their beer menu. And they have a nice selection of Martinis as part of the cocktail program. The bartenders mix them well. The food has been quite good and we have particularly enjoyed the appetizers. The oysters are somewhat unique and different and well-plated. We've also enjoyed the Asian beef skewers. We also enjoyed the meat lover's pizza -- linguica is always a nice addition to any pizza and you don't often find it outside of southeastern MA. They have a good variety elsewhere on the menu, including your Cape seafood options, but they are prepared in ways that may be a bit of a pleasant departure for Cape visitors and locals alike. Our main complaint about Etzy's is that we'd expect the atmosphere to a be a bit more sophisticated given their title of "Bistro and Wine Bar". The service and music can feel very casual at times, more like a typical pub than a wine bar. The decor, being wood paneled, also feels very dark at times -- more suited to winter than summer -- and mismatched, as we might expect that in a cigar or whiskey bar instead. That being said, their food and drinks are superior to what you would find in a typical pub, so we make Etzy's a regular part of our restaurant routine.

We were looking for a simpler place for dinner after eating at more expensive restaurants on Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket. So an Irish restaurant sounded great. When we got there, we realized there was live music - local people that gathered to play Irish tunes. There were about 20 people playing and I wished I could have joined it. The music was a great addition to the great food. Lots of good choices for all type of eaters.

Great, fun, casual spot with good pub food. The lobster roll is incredible and my friends have ordered it â to goâ numerous times.Ingredients FRESH and entrees good for sharing!Outdoor seating available. The owner donates a portion of money saved by NOT ACCEPTING credit cards to local nonprofits! One negative are the fruit flies which are always in attendance however.

Went here with friends that we hadn't seen for years. Had a great time catching up in a nice environment. Excellent conversation accompanied with excellent food. I'm always skeptical of a restaurant that offers a wide variety of foods and their ability to do it at an excellent level. Fear not for Jason's did a fantastic job with everything we ordered. I had Uncle Tony's platter, consisting of veal and chicken parmigiana a colossal meatball and pasta of choice. It was as good as any I've had in an Italian restaurant. The fish and chips and clams came with onion rings and french fries and were excellent. The steak tips delicious and as good as any steak house offering. Oh and I can't forget about the potato skins and mozzarella sticks. Four stars all around. Try it today!Thank you. Chef Eccles

We came for dinner. I had a burger with sauté onions and cheddar cheese. The burger was excellent. It was much better than the typical bar burger. Decent french fries.Typical Pub Beer List.Very good service and good value. It's a big open space in a former retail store on the Main Street through Dennis Port. Comfy. I will come back on the basis of the burger.

Had a wonderful meal with family totaling seven of us. The inn was accommodating as we changed our reservation multiple times both to increase people and move the time. Mooncussers was highly recommended to us by our realtor and cousins who live in Chatham. We were not disappointed. All fish dinners were excellent. The lobster fondue was particularly noteworthy. All meals, drinks and appetizers came as ordered and we had a great time.

Clancyâs was a very pleasant surprise. My first and only time at Clancyâs was over five years ago for brunch, and my wife and I came away very disappointed, saying âNever again.â Well, âneverâ only lasted five years, and this time I was having dinner with our daughter, Stefanie.I called to make a reservation and was told, âDonât take reservations for small parties. Just come in. Youâll be OKâ. Since was a Tuesday in September, I figured it really would be OK, but when I arrived at 6:20 â a little ahead of Stefanie â I found the restaurant full, with only table tops in the bar available. Then I had another small surprise when a party of two left, and I wanted to be seated at the vacated table by a window overlooking Swan River. Thereâs a small sign behind the receptionist that says, âSeating done only when the full party is presentâ. Fortunately, the receptionist did let me be seated by myself, and Stefanie arrived shortly afterwards.Stefanie and I got our drinks, a Bombay Gin & Tonic for her and a glass of Frei Brothers Russian River Chardonnay for me, and we settled in to catch up on things, with no rush to order dinner.Another surprise was the extensive menu that includes Regular Menu, Dinner Specials, and a Three Course Menu that is served only on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Being there on a Tuesday, the Three Course Menu was available, and it has six entrees all costing just $20. This was very tempting, especially looking at the Pork Schnitzel (Pork loin pounded, breaded and fried topped with bacon herb butter ~ with mashed potato and vegetable medley) and Seafood Mac and Cheese (Scallop, salmon and one jumbo shrimp, penne blended with four cheese sauce ~ topped with Ritz cracker crumbs). We both passed on the tempting Three Course Menu and went a laâ carte. For dinner, Stefani ordered a small Caesar Salad (Crisp romaine, garlic butter croutons, Caesar dressing and parmesan cheese) with the Grilled Salmon as a topping, and before I go any further, let me say that it was a very good-sized portion of grilled Salmon filet, thus making this small salad a substantial entrée (for me). There was no leftover on Stefanieâs plate when we finished.I ordered the Grilled Reuben (Fresh corned beef, sauerkraut, Russian dressing and swiss cheese on marble rye), which came with the prerequisite French fries. I always enjoy a good Reuben, and this one was no exception, but like almost every dinner out, I took half of it home, and it is dinner tonight. As I said up front, âClancyâs was a very pleasant surpriseâ and it is definitely going to get another visit in the near future.

A friendly family restaurant that serves seafood, steaks, and American fare. We also have live entertainment many nights a week, including dance music with a live band on Wednesdays and Fridays, Geno Sings Sinatra and More on Sundays, and John Morgan's Ha
Been passing this place for ten years and finally decided to try it. We were not impressed. The menu had a little of everything on it, and we tried a variety of different things. None of them were very good. The interior is dark and dated, and service was very average. There are too many good places around to go here, sorry.Sorry you were not impressed. We always wish for our customers to have a great experience, and most of them do. If you would like to contact me further about what meals you had, I would be happy to discuss any issues that came up. [email protected] Have a good summer!
