Came with friends on Saturday early evening for dinner. Pleasant atmosphere, friendly and competent staff. Shared a salad (large portions), and had the sea bass piccata for entree. Food was tasty, but the noise level was pretty high.

Easily one of the finest restaurants in the Coachella Valley. French influence carries throughout the menu, decor and serving staff. Entrees are spectacular and varied; great wine list at acceptable pricing. The serving staff are what stood out for me. Exceptional! Donât be fooled by shopping centre location. This is a great restaurant.

We wandered in here at about 9 p.m. and were welcomed warmly. We ate light; the house special flautas and a quesdilla con crema, both excellent. Enjoyed the wood-carved Mexican scenes on the furnishings that show a commitment to style and culture. Judging by the other patrons, it's a local favorite place.

From the moment you approach the Cliffhouse you are surrounded by the dramatic sights and sounds of this desert destination. Jutting from a massive rock outcropping above the desert floor the Cliffhouse is renowned for its spectacular views across the val
This was one of the few times that I could actually enjoy the flavor of the clams in the clam chowder. More clams than other stuff. The service was great, friendly, and quick.Enjoyed the view of the cliffs and the wonderful food.

Our server was trying to explain all of the two for options that Applebee's has now, so we ordered a two for $20. Both had chicken which just didn't taste like real chicken. Potatoes tasted like instant, but they tried by swirling a balsamic reduction for an added level of taste. My Asian salad had wilted lettuce.

Unique fine dining experiences have all but disappeared in Southern California. Menus seem to have shrunk to steaks, lobster, fish and ribs with few creative dining adventures you can get excited about. After looking for a special restaurant for our anniversary, we heard some good feedback about a restaurant in the local Fantasyy Springs casino in Indio, CA. We went there for our special occasion and we really enjoyed the entire experience. The restaurant is upstairs, in a niche area off the main promenadeânot too flashy, but private. No looky-loos looking in the window or throngs of people passing by. The ambience is warm and luxurious without being stuffy. Only tables here, no booths. Our server was friendly and attentive and offered us a wide variety from the full bar before ordering. The menu has an extensive and very tempting selection of appetizers and wide variety of entrees, as well as some interesting sushi selections. Choosing one dish was really challenging, there were so many enticing dishes. I chose a Miso-sake glazed sea bass, and my husband chose the Kobe beef meat loaf stuffed with white cheddarâand we shared. Although my sea bass, a personal favorite, was delicious, I could hardly stop stealing bits of my husbands meat loaf. It was bursting with flavor! Throughout the meal, the server continued to attentive but not intrusive. And After this leisurely dinner, we had NO room for any of the delicious desserts. But they were so tempting we ordered a couple to take home. We wanted to order the Bistro gourmet cookie box, but we were told they sell out early and oftenâso if you want the cookie box, order early! We ended up taking home a warm chocolate pecan pie and a pastry wrapped banana dish. Both were excellent, but I suspect would be better if enjoyed in the beautiful ambiance of the restaurant, rather than out of a styrofoam box in the front of the TV later that night, LOL. All in all, this was a wonderful celebration of our anniversary, and we plan to repeat it again this year. It will be hard to force ourselves to try something new on the menu, and we have resolved in the future to go more often than once a year! The overall expense was not out of range of our expectations for fine dining, and we felt it was well worth the price. After our dinner we spent an hour or two on casino floor, and my anniversary celebration was topped off by a $500+ win on a 50¢ Slot machine! Great memorable night!

June Hill's Table is a warm and welcoming place that features fresh fare and locally sourced produce, including herbs and spices from the community gardens. As the name would imply, the restaurant features an impressive community table as the focal point,
We've been going to June Hills Table since it opened. The clubhouse is beautifully furnished, has a great vibe and with incredible views. The last few times I've gone my meal has seemed to go from bad to worse. The last two times we visited I ordered the Ceasar Salad with Salmon. Each time the dish came with Spring Greens rather than the Crisp Romaine as is on the menu. I had to send the dish back each time to get the correct ingredients. We love supporting our local businesses and love going to June Hills Table which also advertises that they used locally sourced ingredients. We tried it again last night and it wasn't much different. We ordered the Brussel Spouts Appetizers which are always very good. I then ordered the Cobb Salad which was large enough, fresh but sadly the ham and turkey were thin sliced deli style, certainly not what I was expecting. I was hard pressed to taste or even find the bleu cheese so I ordered a side of bleu cheese to throw on my salad. We had also ordered a glass of Chardonnay (Butter which they feature) and sadly they were out. How can you be out of a wine on a weekend that is featured on your wine list and sold locally. I settled on a Rose which was just OK since they were out of the Butter Chardonnay, yet charged me the premium price of the Rose. My friend had the Fish and Chips, instead of the regular fries he ordered the Sweet Potato Fries. When the order arrived they forgot the Sweet Potato Fries which finally arrived about 5 minutes later. The server/bartender was sweet, and I'm sure it wasn't her fault, but she should have checked prior to bringing out the food. The restaurant wasn't busy so I don't find an excuse for the mishaps which has happened the last three times I've visited. They just can't seem to get it right. I can't say I'll be back again as I've given them more times than I can count to get it straight.

Who would have thought that you could get a fantastci Vegan Cheeseburger at a western tavern in Indio??? I am not sure what type of a imitation burger was used, but it was really good. The burger also came with mushrooms and onions. Now if you are coming for a variety of Vegan food, look elsewhere as this is pretty much Tavern fodd but fresh and cooked really well. This is a pretty unique place with the log structure and saddles, yes saddles, that are used for some of the stools. Very friendly atmosphere and our server, Patti, was fantastic!!!
