Staying near here and stopped in for dinner. What a treat...this is 4.5 âï¸. Super friendly, attentive server along with a great menu which combined Cajun and southern for us. Hubs had the catfish PO boy with a side of cheese grits and he raved and he doesnât rave. Fresh tasty cornmeal crusted catfish with tartar sauce and soft French roll. I had the Bully Wrap which Iâd read about but didnât see on the menu (diced chicken, lettuce, tomato red onion and jack cheese) with a sauce that was kind of sweet and sour with a hint of kick. My side was the creamiest cole slaw ever. We shared a serving of bread pudding with a vanilla sauce which was small but perfect having joined the clean plate club with the main course. Bread pudding was so delish....Place was busy but so worth the wait. Little bit on the dates side but the food shines and thatâs whatâs important. Thanks for the review! We hope to see you again!

We are a casual fine dining restaurant in the heart of Olde Town Clinton. Serving plate lunches and sandwiches during the day, then switching to an upscale but casual restaurant during the evening. We have a full bar, and excellent staff waiting to serve
This place was recommended by a store owner in the area. The atmosphere is enjoyable, the restaurant is nicely appointed, there is a small bar area, and the menu is varied only by the six specials that were offered this evening. It appeared that the women who 'waited' on our table was perhaps the manager? She was training a young lady dressed in the all black staff uniform but she was dressed in street clothes. I point this out because the service was sub-par and made our experience memorable in a negative way. We ordered the brisket burger with sweet potato fries. The burger was excellant relative to taste and was properly cooked. Regular fries arrived though - so we sent them back. Five minutes later, the sweet potato fries arrived undercooked. So again we caught the attention of the wait staff and waited several minutes for the 'manager' to take care of the fry problem again. This time it took 7 more minutes and the fries arrived overcooked and almost charred - by this time the burger was fully eaten, so we got the fries to go. Perhaps if she wrote the order down, the order would have arrived correctly the first time. I ordered the spinach salad which comes with honey mustard dressing which I was looking forward to......but the dressing is more like horseradish honey and absolutely ruined the salad! I ordered the dressing on the side, and am glad I did because I can only imagine what it would have tasted like if the dressing was tossed on all of the spinach. I thought my nasal passages were on fire and about to explode. Yes, I asked for a different salad dressing at the same time that the sweet potato fries were sent back the 2nd time. I NEVER received the alternate gorganzola dressing. Needless to say, I ate less than half of the spinach salad and did not enjoy it at all. We enjoyed visiting the downtown area of Clinton, and may visit this restaurant again, however will ask that the 'order taker' actually write the order down and I certainly will not order the burning hot honey mustard dressing for any salad.

Took my 75 year old sister to Applebee's for dinner this evening. Very typical Applebee's but she loved it. It got four stars specifically because the wait staff was so cordial and friendly. Easy to get to and parking is plentiful. Right across the street from a couple of very nice hotels close to the college
This restaurant is brand-new, and they are having growing pains. The facility is very small and usually crowded at mealtime. Word on the street is that the pizza is great, so we decided to try a takeout. We called in our order, then waited the 30 minutes they told us it would take for the pizza to be ready. We arrived at the restaurant to find standing room only in the whole place! Friends who were seated warned of a very long wait. They had been there an hour and still didn't have food. Many of the people standing were waiting for takeout orders. We all saw the reason for the delay when two young men walked through the restaurant carrying 15 pizzas each. They put them in a car to take to a campus gathering somewhere. Finally, after 50 minutes of waiting, at the restaurant in addition to the 30 minutes on the front end, we were given our pizzas. When we got home, none of the 4 of us were particularly impressed with the pizza. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't anything special. I may give these folks another chance someday, but it will be after they've had time to get their act together.
