Clarion is a borough in and the county seat of Clarion County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is located 77 miles (124 km) north-northeast of Pittsburgh and is part of the Pittsburgh DMA. Clarion was settled in 1839 and incorporated in 1841. In the past, the surrounding area produced natural gas, oil, lumber and coal. The population was 2,004 in 1900, 2,864 in 1910, and 5,276 at the 2010 census. It is home to the annual Autumn Leaf Festival and Clarion University of Pennsylvania. The county courthouse was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

We stopped here for dinner and we had their Monday night $10 special which was âall you can eatâ pasta (either penne or Linguini) with several different sauces (we had the marinara). For $2 extra you could get 2 meatballs, shrimp, or chicken. There were a couple other options which I forget now. This price also included a house salad (to their credit field greens instead of icky iceberg lettuce) and a piece of bread. The sauce and meatballs were delicious. We so often find marinara to be âimmatureâand meatballs to be bland. This was it the case tonight. I also tried their 1841 Amber Lager and it was really good! This was all a good deal for the money and certainly worth the stop. Our waitress was Amanda and she was sweet and attentive.

Previously reviewed the roadhouse and gave it 4/5 stars due to a long wait for food when the place was scarcely populated and for the high prices, but due to a recent visit on July 8th, Iâm changing it to a 5/5.Everything was PERFECT!! Our waitress was super speedy and kind, our drinks were out fast, the appetizer and rolls were out fast, we didnât have enough time to finish our apps before our main courses came and HOLY FOOD!!!! 3 of us did the choose your own combo meal and did the pick 3 option. My husband and sister loved their steak medallions, my husband loved the ribs, the cod was frickin massive and fresh and delicious, the crab cakes were absolute perfection!!! And the onion petals, fries, and mashed potatoes were amazing omg. 3 different delicious options PLUS 2 sides for $24?!?! Incredible deal, we were freaking out about this meal for days afterwards, we canât wait to go back!! Their combo dinner is an unbeatable deal! Kiersten, Thanks for leaving us a review! We always have positive experiences at this location. After visiting other Applebees and having negative experiences, we couldnât wait to get back to our home Applebees. I am gluten free and they are always willing to work with me and provide me with great gluten free food. Their allergy menu is on the table kiosk. Pretty easy to read.

Visited with a extended family group of 6 people with my grandmother who is 93. They quickly adjusted to put us where she could navigate with the wheelchair. Good knowledgeable server made the night. Specials were delicious. Fish and chips is like we have had in London. Yum!

The food was not as bad as the service. This is a neighborhood bar with cheap tables and chairs that need to be replaced. Prices were cheap and the quality not very good. If we lived nearby we wouldn't go here.
