Fatboys Southern Smokehouse combines southern hospitality, biker ambiance, and good 'ol fashioned, slow and low cooked BBQ. Ready for some good, home cookin'? We're waiting for you at Fatboys!
Great meal with my bride. I had the hungry man - 3 meat and a side (brisket, ribs and chicken). All 3 were delicious. Mac and cheese was a good choice for my side. Wife had the ribs. Service was good. Beer was cold. Food was good. Everything a guy needs. We certainly are a perfect "guys" place to enjoy BBQ, but especially happy to hear your Bride loved it :)Hope to have you both back very soon , maybe try our All You Can Eat Ribs on a Thursday nightCheers Shawn

Mac Daddy burger with Chuck ⢠Panko mac & cheese ⢠Double smoked bacon ⢠Cheddar whiz sounded over the top, but was actually quite good. Also loved the swiss mushroom burger, and double bite burger. Burgers were served raw in the middle (red, not just pink), but was quickly corrected. Truffle fries and poutine were also delicioius. Great service as well.

This restaurant has been opened for many years in Gatineau. It burnt out a few years ago and they've rebuilt it a couple years ago. It now has two storeys. They serve all kinds of food (chicken, seafoods, oven pizzas, pub-style foods, pastas, etc). Very p
We went on a Thursday night after some holiday shopping and the place was fairly busy. Service was good and wait time was very reasonable. Prices were low but the food was surprisingly great. We had wraps/sandwiches with fries and both were surprised at how fresh and tasty they were. The real gem was the dip appetizer which was AMAZING! We would recpmmend as a casual night out for something inexpensive.

Serving premium cocktails and burgers.
Well worth the trip over the Ottawa river for lunch or dinner in this warehouse style pub venue!!Bar seating, tables, benches and patio options. 20ft graffiti style warehouse environment with multiple huge sports screens. Amazing service in both official languages - and smart twists on regular pub food!!Loved the koolaid picked! Grilled cheese with Montreal meat and soup for dipping was my happy meal. My spouse had the greatest battered chicken burger - anywhere - ever! And biggest selection of drinks you would want from brands to micro brews and everything non alcohol. WoW love this place - but be forewarned - expect to pay premium for premium food. Burger platters average about $16. Most like The Works - but the experience far surpasses in my opinion :)Thanks for the great review , really glad you enjoyed our burger bar !

This restaurant also has an old fashioned motel, Restaurant, and bar. Close to the Gatineau park , 15 minutes from Ottawa, with many attractions in the area.
If you are old enough, you will remember restaurants in the late 1960's and early 1970's. All of the food was generic. The club sandwiches were made with Wonderbread. Chicken and Veal parmigiana had watery spaghetti and there was a sweetness in the spaghetti sauce. Well, this place is a throw-back to those times. With a few exceptions. Since the owner is of Dutch origin, they have some foods originating from the Dutch colonies of Asia. This is the go-to place for your burgers, beers and fries. They make a reasonable club sandwich. The breakfasts are good for your bacon and eggs. They have good sandwiches and good poutines. Don't expect artisan breads, fancy cheeses or exotic meats. The veal parmigiana is chopped veal. This is basic, homestyle food at a reasonable price. It isn't fancy, and it isn't expensive. Desserts are standard (pie, smoothies, and ice cream sundaes). There is a gelato bar and there are a few big screen TVs in the place. It is basic and it delivers, but it again, it is not fancy.

Tucked in Chelsea is this surprising establishment. The menu's choices are very similar to every diner around the greater Ottawa region, until you receive; Oh my! I thought burgers at TheWorks were good, Manchester has the best in the region, hands down! Everything is fresh made down to the coleslaw salad served with your plate. Our waitress was funny and gave a great service throughout out meal. The only thing missing, would be for them to associate with a micro-brewery and have "their" beer. All in all, this was one pleasant surprise.

Adorable local spot with many burger options (including chicken, fish and vegetarian). Service was lovely and we did not wait too long. Food was good and prices reasonable but nothing more. Portions are generous. Seating is a bit awkward as the place is very small and cannot accomodate large groups.Very casual.

Friendly staff and interesting menu. Casual dining environment, essentially divided into 3 areas (patio, bar, and dining). Food quality, portions and presentation were very good. Some craft beers, including a sampler option. Limited parking on site, but there is parking on the street and in a lot across the street.

Four of us went here last Monday and enjoyed sitting outside. The service was excellent and the food was very good however the burger was very "blah"; it had no flavour and was small for the price. It's nice that they offer the salad or fries or half & half. Some of the drinks were a little on the pricey side but overall we enjoyed our meals.
