Things to do in Cedar Point
Came here just to have a couple drinks and a bite to eat..... Small local kind of neighborhood bar. Friendly staff, fun bartendar, and just a fun place to burn some time. Food was delicious... we had the wings which were great with all types of sauces on the side to dip.Da Cheese State is now official in NC.... We will be back to check on our WI chalk drawing.... SHELEN!

I ordered one of the nightly âspecialsâ, Surf & Turfâ. The rib eye steak was fine; however, the âSurfâ consisted of only three (3) scallops. For $36 , I was disappointed as the sides dishes were rather small as well. Others reported that the homemade cole slaw was really just chopped cabbage with little dressing; a lot of wasted cabbage. Take a drive to Port of Call or Island Grille restaurants; much better food for a comparable price.

We ate dinner tonight after not wanting to wait at another restaurant. Glad we came here. The appetizer chips were so good. I had a Ruben sandwich and fries and it was very good. My girlfriend had Scallops and she said they melted in her mouth. Her hushpuppies were good too. This was our second visit in about 6 months and the last time it was good too. There was no wait on this visit.

Coffee was average, french toast was good. Eggs benedict was ok - one egg was overcooked with a hard center so no yolk oozing and when we mentioned it to waitress she shrugged and said sorry she would tell the chef and proceeded to put our check on the table.

We could not wait to visit this famous "dive bar" located in Swansboro. Only one other table was there on the night we visited, but with the strong breeze blowing and the $1.50 draft beer special, conditions seemed perfect. Soon we were the only table being served. Our first round of beers were...well...not cold. But we overlooked that and proceeded to order dinner and another round. The food came but the beers didn't. Seems like much more was going on than it appeared as our server was mostly absent. She was nice when we saw her. The cocktail sauce was about as tasteless as some of those you buy in a bottle at the grocery store. But the shrimp were good. My sister had the flounder and really enjoyed it. My fish tacos came with a "pico sauce" which was essentially onions and tomatoes and not much else. So, pass on those if you visit. But aside from the warm beer and the really bad music provided by the one dollar per song jukebox, I can see how the locals love this place. But being a local may be the key here.

Went there our first day for lunch. The food was delicious. The shrimp and grits was out of this world. The ribeye sandwich was piled with meat and flavorful and the shrimp nachos were delicious. In addition, the service was quick and friendly. Highly recommend.

The Boro Restaurant & Bar is located in downtown historic Swansboro NC, The Boro underwent a complete makeover in August of 2016 with a new chef, menu and makeover of the restaurant. The Boro offers a full menu Wednesday through Sunday with brunch on Satu
Their website (and even their menu in the restaurant) says they serve breakfast. We have dined here for breakfast before; it was bustling and the food was good. However, this time when we arrived we were told that the owners had âchanged their mindsâ about serving breakfast because it wasnât busy enough and then we were turned away. Ironically, every other person in the restaurant at that moment was also there for breakfast.

Historic Downtown Swansboro. Focus is on local seafood, All Natural raised American Beef and Chicken, local and organic produce. Pasta dishes, vegetarian, vegan, nightly chef specials.
We rode into town on our motorcycle after a 90 degree plus ride, hot and tired. Our hotel recommended this as their number one recommendation. It was a mile walk from our hotel so we walked there and back. It's a nice little restaurant right on the water. Inside or outside dining. We chose inside because we needed to cool down but there were people outside (no shade though so keep that in mind). We had great service, were seated right away. My husband had the Bahama Mama drink which he loved. He also had Shrimp and Grits which is also raved about. I had a greek salad and I wanted to taste a local fish so they blackened grouper and put that on top. Also have roasted brussel sprouts which were tasty. It was a good experience. It's also in a cute, historic walking area. Unfortunately on a Tuesday night none of the shops were open. We enjoyed a nice stroll back to our hotel through the neighborhood. Encourage you to try this place.

Harrikaâs is transitioning into a Blog Ecommerce Site. 911 Cedar Point Blvd will soon be called The Treehouse.
Just so happend to get a hotel next to this amazing craft beer bar. On this particular night they were celebrating thier 10th year anniversary. They had live music which was really cool out back. They offerd like 20 different craft beers to choose from on tab. Also inside the bar they sold hundreds of different beers. I really enjoyed looking through them all as they had them all seperated in catagories styles. You are allowed to purchase singles or make up 6 packs. Friendly staff, cool venue, and so much more. I would say stop here to lurchase some good craft beers if you are passing by this area.

We stopped here for lunch a few weeks ago. We just happened to be in town helping with disaster relief from Hurricane Florida. My wife had the pimento sandwich and loved it. I really enjoyed the special sandwich of the day. So the food here is tremendous, and the service is A+. We met the owner, Marty, and were impressed with his heart to serve and provide great meals at a fair price. If we lived closer, this would be our go-to restaurant for good food.
