We really struggled to find an open restaurant in Castellana on a very wet cold February night, after driving round for half an hour we stumbled on Antica Roma. It didn't look too promising at first glance but the table of students in the corner seemed to be enjoying themselves and frankly there was little other choice. I am really glad we stayed. The food was good quality and tasty and best of all it was quick! Mind you, about ten minutes after we arrived it filled up and within 20 mins it was heaving. Really good value, lovely friendly staff and a very lucky find.

I believe this place has been in existence for a while but I only came across its new location earlier this year and have visited it twice. It's a great place to meet being adjacent to the carpark serving the market (Saturdays) but its the range of icecreams and cakes that I like in particular. The decor is bright and modern and the service friendly. I am not sure about comments made by other tripadvisor visitors that foreigners can be charged extra but it seems unlikely in that there is a comprehensive menu complete with prices. I think the icecream to be just about the best in town too and who can argue with a place offering 6 different types of chocolate icecream.

Il locale è molto particolare, perché consiste di un negozio di articoli biologici, articoli senza glutine e lattosio e tanto altro, ed una saletta dove degustare thè e tisane. Ambiente e personale molto accogliente.

Really enjoyed a fabulous focaccia with a glass of wine. Friendly staff, the cocktails looked amazing too!Thank you very much Amiemad for this excellent review! We appreciate it very much. Our Chef Francesco is very pleased that you enjoyed our Pinsa (it's like pizza, but better :-), he invented all of the original toppings, using mainly locally produced fresh products, which makes it - as you put it - fabulous :-). We hope to welcome you @ Malidea again and once again Thank you!
