This is a German inspired place with decent pizza, and good beers, but the service was slow, and it wasn't busy, and the prices were a little high for the type of place and location. They have games and large table with a beer tap at the end of the table, so I think this would be good for large groups.

We drove from our place in Posillpo to here; around a 40 minute drive. We wanted to get away from the 'unkept' beaches. I knew Ischitella was popular with the locals so we gave it a try and it didn't disappoint. We rented a family cabin which comes with a table and 4 chairs, a stool, a brolly and two sun loungers. The cost for this was 30euros for the day from 10am to 630pm; the cost is the same no matter when you arrive. If you're a family with children and have valuables, this is great because you can lock everything in the cabin and go down to the sea together. The site is also complete with toilets which are fairly clean and also hot and cold showers; ideal for sandy kids, and changing rooms labelled 'Spogliatoio (in case you're struggling for what to look for).The beach is clean with white sand and the water (Tyrrhenian Sea) was very warm. You have lots of people selling things all day long on the beach but they won't come and pester you; they just walk by unless you're interested in anything. The site has its own bar and restaurant where you can order lunch for a certain time and they will call you over the tannoy for collection. You can choose from Pasta, Pizza, Sandwiches, Salads, Roast beef or chicken and much more.....we went here twice and there was a different choice on both days.The only one downside is, Italian families like to spread out so to get from the cabin to the water is a bit of a maze-like walk but once you've worked out your route first time round, it gets quicker to get there!

Very nice and friendly family run business. Food is ok, beer list is really but really big. Would recommend as a family friendly pub as most Italian pubs, but this goes above and beyond
