While visiting my aunt we decided to visit and enjoy some dessert and coffee. The restaurant itself is beautiful and the cakes looked amazing, although rather pricey. Upon making our way to the hostess, we were told it would be a 45 minute wait, but we could get takeout and sit outdoors in the courtyard. So we went that option. While waiting for our slices of cake, another woman walked in. I thought to myself she would have a long wait, but no, she was seated immediately. I might add that we are not young girls, but 72 and 60. However, we had on capris, shirts and both of us had baseball caps on. Apparently we were not dressed appropriately to be worthy of a seat. Needless to say, will not be back to this restaurant.Linda, We have been booked with reservations for a few months in advance. I am sure the woman who was seated had a reservation. If there is not a reservation, we would seat you at the next available table, which would have been a 45 minute wait time or shorter. We would never not seat someone if we had an available table. We love all of our customers and are grateful for each guest. We hope you return and we look forward to seeing you.

Another one of hundreds of Monday night dinners while traveling on business in Indy... this time I chose Muldoon's in the quaint and scenic Carmel Main Street Arts & Design district.. what a great little stretch of restaurants and shops just off the Monon Trail..It was only about 5:30 on a Monday and the place was pretty empty when I entered - I sat at the bar and the friendly barman pulled up a pint of Bell's "Hop-Smash" limited edition IPA - which was wonderful.. I ordered the fish and chips and a few patrons wandered in for dinner... Looking over the pretty typical menu of burgers and sandwiches, with a few Irish favorites like Shepherd's Pie and Irish Stew sprinkled in - the fish and chips was calling my name! MOST EXCELLENT fish! hot, flaky, perfectly cooked - very lightly breaded and not at all greasy - this was one of the best incarnations of fish and chips fish I have ever had! The chips were pretty standard, not home-cut I am pretty sure but hot and fresh - I also had a side salad (only $1.50 more) - the salad was crisp and a good portion - but a salad in the middle of winter in Indiana can only do so much... I did have a nice time chatting with some of the other friendly folks at the bar that evening..Overall my tab, including fish and chips, salad, one pint and tip was $30 - pretty typical for Carmel dining... a nice pub atmosphere in a fun, scenic area - this is a great place to stop and rest for a drink and a snack while strolling around Carmel! Recommended..

Jodi and I have been trying new restaurants in the area on our weekly date night. Woodys Library restaurant was a pleasant surprise. Fun atmosphere with tables upstairs in the library. I had the pot roast and she had a vegetarian mix. Really enjoyed our visit. The bar downstairs was lively and they are setup for summer with covered outdoor seating. We will definitely come back

The waitress said they are known for their unusual craft pizzas so we tried a couple, the Pollotate and the Fire Roasted Fajita. The pollotate has chicken, potatoes and red onions with cheeses and the fajita had steak, roasted peppers, onions and tomatoes with cheeses. Both were good, but we preferred the fajita. I personally didnât like the sliced potatoes on a pizza. Service was good although they werenât very busy. Weâll probably be back.Picture shown is half of each pizza.

The variety of burgers is fabulous and extensive...the quality of the meat is top notch and their home made mustard is worthy of taking home.. we did ... the atmosphere is active and on the loud side the service is friendly and quick but not rushed. We have eaten here three times with always great enjoyment and consistency which is important. Take time to read the options..enjoy

We had lunch outdoors at Matt the Miller's Tavern on a beautiful day in September and it was a very nice surprise. This place looks like the kind of restaurant in the suburbs of every city that depends on an attractive room and outdoor area and a fashionable location but that usually serves very ordinary food. This was definitely not the case. I opted for the cod sandwich and it was one of the best I have had. It was actually too big (not a problem if you box half and take it home) but was perfectly cooked, generous in terms of the fish, and served on a large bun that didn't seem like it came from a Wonder Bread factory. What a treat.Service was excellent. Our server was friendly, informative, paid exactly the right amount of attention, and was prompt with everything including the check when we were ready to head out. They offer several attractive soup/sandwich/salad combos that would be worth trying if I make it back there again. It isn't cheap but I felt like it was worth the price for remarkably good American food in Carmel.Thank you for your great review! We're so glad that you enjoyed everything and found us exceeding your original expectations. We appreciate the kind words and hope that you will join us again soon.Kristin HlavinMarketing Communications CoordinatorCLB [email protected]

The menu contains a number of options but all three of us ordered the sushi-sashimi combination. The quality was very good, everything tasted fresh. We were pleasantly surprised at the soy sauce options offered: regular, low salt, or gluten freeâa nice touch. Very efficient and friendly service.

We were staying at the Hampton inn (same parking lot) for a Volleyball tournament. We ended up going to this restaurant several times. Itâs great! Everything we ordered was outstanding. Service was good too! Highly recommend. Btw do not stay at the Hampton - that place needs a major update.
