Fab village pub with a lot to offer in atmosphere and really good food. Never had a disappointing meal there. Bar staff friendly. Uses the village green outside for entertainment and just watching the world go by.

Iâve been to this pub quite a few times now, the food is always really good, the staff are always friendly and helpful, the facilities are excellent. The outside space has been done really well and the cocktail bar is a brilliant idea. Iâve been here on live music and di nights and have thoroughly enjoyed it. I would definitely recommend this place

Discover the famous flavour of freshly prepared food, chargrilled to perfection at our Rackstraws Farm steak restaurant! A dairy farm up until the 1970s, our bar area is a listed building and full of character!
Nothing was too much trouble for the waiting staff, in particular Jackie who helped with both the particulars of our order and I overheard the requirements of the table behind - both of which were handled with customer satisfaction in mind.Food wise it is value for money, you get at least what you pay for and if regular you can always have your expectations met as there is so little variance in the food on a plate. The menu changes with the seasons in appearance but the content changes little it would seem. Always happy to return.

We went on Saturday night. My husband had their signature lasagne, which comes with a pot of salad and a pot of delicious home made fat chips. My husband assured me it was excellent as usualI chose the Hoisin Duck salad. The amount of duck was very generous and it tasted delicious. My only issue is I donât like nuts (I am not allergic to them, just donât like them) and there was a generous handful of cashew nuts in the salad, which I hadnât expected. House wine- Merlot was excellent, as was service A very enjoyable meal. Iâm glad you enjoyed your meal sorry about the cashew nuts we could have a replaced it for one without them

Waited 1.5 hours for our food. Asked twice where it was but greeted with indifference by the manger who NEVER offered an apology. Instead accused me of swearing at the staff (is "Where is my bloody food" swearing?). Terrible service and several of my companions experienced the same.I used to like this pub but I or CU3A will NEVER go there again.Terrible service with a terrible manger. If you want food at a reasonable time do NOT go to this pub!!Firstly I vary rarely respond to customer feedback however in your case I will make an exception, you fail to mention that two groups of walkers were booked in on that day, you also failed to mention that both groups grew in numbers due to the fine weather, 34in total, this as explained to you was a mistake on our part, one that we will not repeat. The two groups arrived at the same time each ordering and paying individually, and yes it did cause reasonably long delays. We served 72 people for lunch all within two hours. You have exaggerated you wait time and failed to mention you called me a f- - - - -g b - - - - - -d at the top of you voice in the middle of the pub.you even screamed that I was the worst manager in the world. Several of your colleagues complemented us on the their food and apologised for your poor thuggish behaviour. This is all recorded on our CCTV May I also mention that the U3A walking groups have been coming for many years and you yourself say you really liked the pub, however you have never placed a positive review?

Built around 1480, The Thatched Tavern was originally a farmhouse with a croft (a small farm). There was also a Blacksmiths forge at the back of the building where the kitchen hatch is now, and a wood store at the end of the bar.During the reign of Queen

Although we do not visit Camberley often, we always pop in The Carpenters Arms as we find it comfortable with quick service even when busy. This time however we were disappointed. The Carpenters Arms is a Greene King pub and was unusually quiet with many empty seats but when we presented our Season Ticket phone app we were "We don't accept that, we are a middle of town pub". We've visited probably over 100 Greene King pubs in many citiy and town centres and have never been refused. Our visit was during the match time slot. It spoilt our visit and are reluctant to de-rate what is normally a good pub, so just gave an average. Thanks for taking the time to let us know how we did. All Greeneking venues have different promotions. Season ticket promotion gives you a 10% discount on selected drinks during main sports events and 1hour before and 1hour after. The only venue in Camberley that i know of that take season ticket is the Royal Standard. If you have any further questions, please give us a call. We're always happy to help!

A multi award winning independent cafe/bar on the edge of Camberley town centre. The Cabin offers a relaxing and inviting atmosphere during the day, serving lunches and delicious coffee, as well as something a bit stronger if that's what you're after. In
Wanted to try The Cabin for ages and was not disappointed. Luke behind the bar was very welcoming. Located in an ex shop and surprisingly spacious. The decor is an eclectic mix of musical intruments, (which are probably put to use), and 'up cycling', all very interesting. One keeps looking and finding more. No ales on tap but a large selection of bottled beers, all reasonably priced. Wines and mixers available and probably ciders and lagers but not our forte. Great visit, returned later and Luke remembered our names. Definitely return.

At the Crown and Cushion we are proud to serve fantastic food and drink; classic pub food or specials to rival any restaurant, all freshly prepared. On Sundays, you can choose a Sunday Lunch in our pub, or a superb carvery in our magnificent Meade Hall. R
Took my friend here for lunch as in the area.We were greeted by a friendly lady and were seated in a booth, compared to the rest of the seating area this was actually quite dark and dreary in comparison. We both ordered a portabello mushroom & halloumi burger,I requested no bun and salad instead of chips. The tiniest side bowl of salad accompanied the dish there was no effort made to try and make it look a little bit more than the £12.95 its priced at.Even a bit more salad rather than just the couple of lettuce leaves given would of been appreciated.Shame as due to this experience we would not return but on a positive lovely friendly staff.I'm so sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your veggie stack burger and have spoken to the kitchen team about how the changes you requested to this menu item should have been dealt with. I would urge you to please give us another try and hope to welcome you again soon.
