Great place to visit. Incredibly cheap, and the owner is a hoot! What a character!A must view place on the island.

Bistro is a pleasant place to meet friends, where you can drink a few glasses and share snacks. Here, our tidbits are carefully prepared by Chef Wagner Sá and presented by Ruben Noite serving team. In our Bistro the food is genuinely made with products fr
We started of with some of the homemade garlic bread, and oh lord it was good. Sadly the main courses werenât that good. Hard ribs and dry chicken, everything was really good seasoned witch was sad. Thereâs a lot of potential for this place, but poorly executed. Great service and nice decor. Dear Mrs. CarolineThank you for taking the time to tell us about your visit to our establishment. This is a quirky and hip burger place which provides very good food at reasonable prices. There were not a lot of tourists when we ate there but a lot of locals. We couldnât get a table outside but it was interesting to eat inside as it has some great drawings on the walls and the decoration was different from the norm. The burgers were tender and juicy and the chips were very good indeed. In some dishes the burgers do not come on buns but that didnât limit our enjoyment of them. However, if you like your burger in a bun, it is worth checking when you order. I also had lime mousse to follow which was tart and sweet at the same time. A great palate cleanser. The service was good even though they were very busy and it is also great value. A definite if you like a good burger and chips.

Very good place to grab a plate of tapas to share while sitting on the outside.Chopped scabbard fish for â¬12.00 and a beer were also just fine.Note that this place does not have deserts on the menu. Tapas, toasts, sandwiches, seafood and meat are on offer. They are closed on Mondays and place gets really crowded at 19:00.

Nova Onda - Cantinho dos Petiscos is a restaurant that offers homemade and traditional dishes from Madeira island, with a special touch. It is a good place with friendly people who will be pleased do welcome you. So come visit us!!
Call in for a beer or cold drink or coffee a snack or full meal. The fresh fish caught that day locally, severed with salad and chips with a herb dusting yum yum, the toasty and their own burgers with bacon I loved loved. We took a tuna toasty for the flight home so good. The staff very friendly, most spoke English, sensibly priced food and drink. It has a great local feel about it but not pretentious very relaxed.

This restaurant has a fabulous local feel. We tried the local fish Black Scabbard which is a mild fish taste and the steak which comes on large metal skewers and was very tender. We were lucky enough to catch a traditional local music and dance show which was fun. I do recommend popping in.
