Got very lucky to get a table here without a reservation on a busy Halloween night. We ordered the artichoke/manchego cheese tapa, calamari, falafel salad, veal ravioli, and paella and were impressed with everything. The house red wine - tasty and big pours. Our server Mahmoud was great at pointing out the best items to order and the service was quick and friendly throughout. It's rare to get good tapas outside of Spain, but this place does not disappoint.

Palack gives always a great adventure with its unique atmosphere. Everyone was extremly kind and patient, we received excellent recommendations of wine. The soup was light and fresh, a real springfood should be. The salad had great consistency and taste. The place was full and really noisy to the end of the night.

Visited last night whilst on a 4 day visit to Budapest. 10 minutes walk from our hotel. Lovely atmosphere with complimentry pop corn & vodka shots. Food and menu very interesting.Amazing cocktails and choice.Teens had quesquedillas which they loved. I had a vegan taco which was very tasty and my husband wanted to try the goulash soup which he enjoyed. Not too expensive either which was great.

Iâm a bit disappointed I have to write this, but Smokey Monkies is definitely not the same restaurant I enjoyed a year ago. No longer good and fresh.This was a nice concept, but it someone in the management decided to make a 360 degree turn.1) Despite the fact there are (3) people upfront only one actually makes the sandwiches so during the lunch rush you thereâs a huge bottleneck. One person handles extras such as jalapeños, sides, etc and the last person is the cashier. All in all, itâs a similar style to Subway without any of the efficiency. The saddest part of this is they still havenât learned to improve this system from the beginning. The cashier has no idea what the person ordered when itâs time to pay and they need to have a small conversation with the person who prepared it every single time...2) Pulled pork was dry and tasteless this trip. Iâm guessing it wasnât prepared fresh earlier in the day since some pieces were rock hard. 3) Any sandwich with this much meat or toppings should be in a banquette or at least a harder bread - the bread it as flimsy as paper so everything falls out and you need to eat it with a fork and knife.4) Mac & Cheese is absolutely disgusting and is MICROWAVED. Even a box of Kraft Mac & Cheese (you mix water and cheddar powder) is more tasty than what they served. I understand not the everything can be prepared fresh, but that was horrible and it tasted like water. Completely tasteless and bland.Unfortunately, the Smokey Monkies I knew and recommended two years ago to others is no longer the same. Itâs really disappointing they went complex downhill.P.S - You used to get cheddar cheese on both sides of the bread, now itâs only one. Had a pork fillet burger. It was amazing, these guys really know what they're doing. Cooked perfectly, with quick service and a nice selection of their own beers. I'd like it if they opened a London branch, because I feel I have unfinished business, I had about 10 things on the menu that I'd like to have tried. One quick note - their home made chilli sauce is amazing, but do go easy at over 1 million scoville you don't want to splash it around.

We arrived at this lovely restaurant freezing cold after an evening cruise on the River Danube. We received a warm welcome and a great service. We ordered a Mexican burger and Spaghetti portion. A fantastic meal and had the most amazing hot chocolate drink, so good! Highly recommend a visit.
