Tucked away up on a hill with a waterfall and outdoor seating, McCarthy's provides great friendly service to all the locals whether is happy hour or celebrating a special occasion. Large menu choices, great food and average service. (If you sit outside service is usually slow) Restaurant is clean and friendly. Bathrooms are clean and large parking area for the patrons.

the addition of the fire in the fireplace made this a cozy place...... we asked not to be rushed so we could talk and the waitress was accommodating......spicy shrimp were delicious as well as the chicken francese on angel hair pasta....very tender chicken....a root beer floor had a little kick to it and was equally good as well as the dessert drink "nod to a neighbor" that my friend had.....was told this is part of a chain .....surprising since usually chain restaurants are not as good as this was.
The place is very attractive, including an interesting store and a good outside terrace. The only service is counter service and it is terrible. We were in there 3 times this past week and the young man and woman working there couldn't have been slower and more inattentive. Charm pales when service is lacking. Three visits showed we gave them a chance but wouldn't return.

The Blazer Pub takes its name from a term coined in western Ireland in the late 1800s by a group of enthusiastic foxhunters and their hounds. After a day's work, these hunters would gather in a temporary hut or shack to celebrate their hard-earned bounty.
Moved from southern Westchester to Somers a year ago and began looking for a great burger as Pipers Kilt in Eastchester had us spoiled. Locals up here raved about The Blazer Pib so we decided to check it out for lunch. It was a lively spot.I ordered medium rare cheeseburger with Swiss and grilled onions and he ordered medium Blazer burger which is served on a hard roll..and we shared a small fries. Small fries is large enough for two with extras to spare. First observation is they should use plates a little bit larger as it was difficult to navigate the food on such small plates. As I begin to eat my medium rare burger from the edge it seemed cooked all right although it was smothered with onions too large for the bun which disintegrated in my hands. A bun should do a burger justice and not have to be special ordered. As I continued eating the burger I realized it was not warm and bright red Andit was raw in the center. So I cut the burger in half to investigate. As I was unable to get anyoneâs attention I got up to find our server. She took the burger which was now cut in half due to my investigation back to the grill and rather than giving me a freshly cooked burger they re-cooked a half a burger and a quarter of the other half a burger put it on a fresh roll which was them served with cold not melted Swiss cheese. To me that was a poor remediation for a burger improperly cooked. When I told this to my locals they were surprised that it was handled so poorly. Also server never came to refil my water glass leaving me with ice to suck. That was not all that sucked. We are still on our search for a good burger in Northern Westchester.

We went in October and the decorations for Halloween are fantastic. The food is good and the portions are large. It is not overpriced. It is kid friendly and they have a kids menu. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is b/c the manager (an older guy) was really cranky. The waitresses were nice.

We were looking place to eat and a quick overnight stop in Danberry. We found Rosy Tomorrowâs and what a perfect place. The minute you walk in the door someone was smiling and saying hello how are you. The bar was the perfect spot for us. The bartender Pat made us feel like we came in everyday. The food was wonderful. Much more than we expected. It was Octoberfest with wonderful German specials. If weâre ever back in the area I know where will end up

We had a great brunch on Sunday complete with Bloody Mary - a nice light appetizer table including smoked salmon and bagels and the main course of your choice. I had the steak and eggs which was great but too large to finish. Took the rest home for dinner. Muffins and danish and salad as well. Nice view of the nearby farmland- and occasional live music. We will be back.

We first visited the Bull and Barrel several years ago on opening night. Our first impression was interesting concept, OK food, noisy but expensive for what is on the menu. Little has changed. Great restaurant for kids. The mechanical bull is different. The menu is a little eclectic. Not sure what the are going for here, feels like bbq but there is little bbq on the menu. For example bacon stuffed wontons, but no ribs?Good choice if you're looking for something different!
