If you find yourself in Central Jersey and are looking for a place to truly maximize your Jersey Shore experience, you've got to check out Kelly's Tavern. Multiple beers on draft and in bottles, amazing memorabilia on the walls, and sports all over the place not to mention very salty heavy popcorn, all add to the imbibing pleasure. This is a great place for a date night or a night out with friends. I was there with my best friend and found that there were groups of friends, families, and couples eating out or even on dates, and everything blended together perfectly. Plus there's a nice outside region which also often has little bands playing While the beer is cold and amazing the food is even better. Huge menu with multiple options all of which are excellent. Better yet, prices are reasonably affordable. After an amazing day at 1 of the great beaches in this area, and there are many by the way, what better way to top off the experience than with a trip to Kelly's Tavern. It will be crowded and there will most likely be a wait in the summertime. But that is with very good reason!

The bar featured local bands which played one set each and the vibe was awesome. Shout out to 4 Non John's as the performed a mix of classic covers. The bar has a "Yappy Hour" dog friendly portion during Happy Hour and it was fun watching the dogs play in the pools and with other dogs.Thank You so much...So happy you liked it...Next time bring your Dog to play!

Situated on the Asbury Park Boardwalk, with a mélange of artists, surfers, musicians, denizens and lovers of salt air and sandy toes, Langosta Lounge encapsulates the perfect blend of city and sea, lounge and restaurant, vacation and mid-week escape. Open
First, I have to admit that I've always enjoyed the food here, even though it is a little pricey for what you get. For example, a chicken wrap was $15 with no sides whatsoever (which I only learned after being charged $18 for said wrap--story to follow). The service was extremely slow. If we had known it was going to be so slow we would never have went here. We were in AP to go to the beach, not sit in a restaurant. The restaurant was less than half full. I hate to think how long we would have waited if the place had actually been busy. Although we got water right away and the waitress took our order fairly quickly, it took forever for the food to come out. (OK--that is an exaggeration; I'd still be there if that were true. It took over 30 minutes). When we finally asked about it, we were told they were waiting for the sweet potato fries. Really? Were they waiting for the potato to grow? They only take a few minutes to make. The second situation is that we were charged for the fries. When ordering the wrap, we were asked if we wanted chips, sweet potato fries, or something else I can't remember. We were then charged for it. When I pointed out that we were not told this would be an additional charge, the waitress just shrugged and said they don't tell people that. I told her that they could phrase it by saying "would you like to ADD a side". No apology, no nothing.I would never, ever skimp on a tip because of the food not coming out in a reasonable amount of time because I would not consider that the waiter's fault. But asking what side you want matter-of-factly without indicating the additional cost IS the waiter's fault. So I recouped some of that amount by tipping 15% instead of my usual 20% or more. I am admitting to this so if the waitress sees this, maybe she will learn to be more upfront with people.

We have lived in the area for many years, but didn't give D'Arcy's a go until last year. We had heard good things from friends, so we were hopeful when we first tried it. Thankfully, we were not disappointed and after many visits since then, D'Arcy's has not disappointed us. D'Arcy's has some of the best pub food in the area. The dishes are so much better than those from a typical pub. The Wild Scottish Salmon is always delicious, Juan's chicken and the Baja Fish sandwich are excellent choices as well, and the Goonerholic Burger is AMAZING!!! The downstairs area has a typical pub feel, but the upstairs area, which is small but has its own bar, has been nicely renovated and the atmosphere is very beachy. The outside deck is also a perfect spot to eat on a nice day. All of the staff at D'Arcy's are great... our only complaint is that the entrees are often brought out a few minutes after receiving the appetizers. Not a big deal, they just need to time it better in the kitchen. All in all, we are big fans are D'Arcy's and are always happy to return!

Homey atmosphere and good food at this family-friendly restaurant. Pizza was delicious but be aware that it is bar pie size -- get at least two if you are with a few people. Good music and decent service. Try to get a seat outside if weather permits; less noisy and more comfortable.

Asbury's premier beachfront gathering spot. Part sophisticated drinkery and tapas bar, part music lounge and social club, Watermark's environment is contemporary yet comfortable, refined yet relaxed, upscale yet inclusive.
Visited with a friend who I havenât seen for awhile. Beautiful space with unusual lamps on the ceiling, large windows and stunning views of the ocean and an incredible sunset sky. Waiters were attentive and the hot spinach and cheese dip with chips was delicious. Large couches , upright high top seating facing the windows and a regular bar area. Also an outdoor seating area , weather permitting and an indoor fireplace area . Great music and a great evening , capped off by a walk on the boardwalk!

Came here with my husband and toddler. Lots of great choices on the menu, but we decided on the smoked fish dip, octopus, and the crabcake sliders. Husband ordered the ultimate bloody mary, and I got the cava. The bloody mary is no joke! There really isn't much of a kids menu (chicken tenders, hot dog, or linguini pasta), so my toddler just munched on some pita from the dip appetizer. Service was attentive, and the atmosphere was pretty lively for a 5:30pm reservation! There is outdoor seating, but we sat inside since the tables were full.I'd go again and order the mussels. I saw many folks order that! The octopus and the sliders were a hit for us. The dip was just ok, and definitely not enough pita bread!

Tried this local restaurant for lunch. The bar and dining areas were evenly divided allowing for privacy and quiet. Our party of seven was seated quickly and approached by our waitress. Nice lunch menu providing options from small plates, sandwiches, pasta and seafood. Our choices were served together and as ordered. Nice selection of beers on tap.

Tried this place for the first time on our way home from a trip. We pretty much had the restaurant to ourselves so how could the service be bad right? We ordered an appetizer to split the I got the salmon Mac n cheese and broccoli. My husband got a sliced filet mignon sandwich with Mac n cheese. The appetizer never came. Our dinners came out. My husbands meet was rare he had asked for it medium. The broccoli was pretty much raw. The drink I asked for was not very good. Def did not taste like top shelf vodka. I was disappointed

Asbury Festhalle & Biergarten brings an authentic biergarten experience to Asbury Park, a tradition that Europeans have enjoyed for centuries - communal tables where friends and strangers mingle in a lively, friendly atmosphere, energized by a regular sch
I struggle with the rating as the food was really great. As a German I can say that it was very authentic. The Wiener Schnitzel was tender with a crispy breading. Potato salad and cucumber salad with mustard dressing tasted like home. The WeiÃwurst was like in Bavaria. Now here is what it spoiled it. The service was one of the worst I ever had. Nobody seated us as we entered. It took an eternity before we were asked for our order. They brought the wrong beer and instead of simply apologizing tried to defend themselves. After we got our food we never ever had the chance to oder another drink or were not offered any dessert. I hate eating on such a hostile atmosphere!
