We are summer people, but used to be locals. Our go to spot for fried oysters, smelt, shrimp, clams, is always the Trading Post Lounge. They have a good selection of both mainstream and microbrews on tap. The wait staff is always excellent and friendly. The people sitting next to you are likely to strike up a conversation. Their pizza is also good.

Your local British pub with an American address!
Iâve been here three times in the last six months, usually no problems laughing loudly or talking up a storm with buddies. A few decent spots to view TVâs in bar( I havenât been in dining room ever) my only complaint is usually I find the table tops in bar a little sticky at times. Just needs more attention to detail by staff. Food is typical bar fair iâd Say. The wait staff is usually friendly and happy. This last visit my friends all had too much to drink, I choose to drink water all night. As the night grew long and people went their way my friends were still going strong. The bar keep asked who was driving? This was asked in a professional manner and no other questions came after it was answered I had the driving duties. My friends could have keep going but we took the party elsewhere soon after. Iâd go back to the BBC for what it is, fun place, about average food, though many do rank the pizza highly. Good selection of beers IPA of note, caring polite staff.

When they say this place is small, they mean really small. We walked in and were greeted by friendly people who made room at their table for us. This is definitely a place where the locals hang out. The waitress was very friendly. The drinks were very reasonable. We did not stay for dinner but, there was some great looking dishes coming out of the kitchen. I highly discourage children!

Traditional favorites share the menu with contemporary cuisine. Lovely dining rooms offer a choice of settings; candle-lit rooms, fireside dining in the Music Room or garden side dining in the sun or moonlit Conservatory combine with outstanding service a
We went on a Friday night and we had made a reservation. We arrived and were seated very quickly, in the tavern, as we had our 2 children with us. We hadn't dined here before, so we didn't have a preference. I ordered a red sangria, it was ok, and I ordered a second one, but it wasn't good at all, I didn't drink it, the waitress didn't question why it was left untouched. Perhaps she didn't notice because once the entrees came out we didn't see her again until it was time for the check, that's right, she didn't check with us to see how things were. I can understand that she was busy, but other restaurants get busy, and we still have better service than we had here.Anyways, the food, my husband was disappointed with his chicken coq au vin. He was expecting a braised chicken, and he received a dry chicken. It wasn't a true chicken coq au vin, in his opinion. I had the wok fired atlantic salmon, it was good. The atmosphere was nice.I don't know that we would return to eat here.Dear lola72 ~We are very disheartened to hear that your experience was far from a positive memorable one; we certainly do apologize. We have reviewed your comments with all the appropriate teams. We understand that you don't think you will return, and that is understandable based on your experience - we certainly do work to provide an experience that is positive - in your case, it does seem that we missed the mark. Captain Al's Restaurant and Tiki Bar is a favorite among locals and vacationers alike. We are a family style restaurant adjoining Continental Marina and overlooking Buttermilk Bay. Our large partially enclosed deck offers guests fantastic water views as t
We have experienced this place several times while visiting Cape Cod. The outside dining is picturesque and the service is good. The food is better than most but could use some updating of the menu. Drinks are plentiful and the service and weekend entertainment is good.

They have the best fried clams on the cape, at half the price! It is certainly not a fine dinning restaurant but, if you want fresh seafood at a great price, this is the place. I only like fried clams but my spouse loves the fried fishermanâs platter. Everyone is so friendly there.

This is a great local restaurant that many locals frequently go to. They have great seafood and daily $1.00 oysters between 2:00 - 6:00pm. Also daily happy hour specials; 3 oyster Rockefeller for $5.00 is the best bargain on the Cape. Look for Windy for a great bartender!

Eastwind Seafoods features Cape Cod's best fresh fish market, seafood restaurant, shucked while you wait raw bar and clambake caterers all under one roof at the Buzzards Bay Rotary just before the Bourne Bridge and minutes from the Sagamore Bridge.
After seeing outstanding reviews in Cape Cod paper we were expecting a real treat. We were disappointed. Clam chowder was pasty and clams were missing. Fried oysters were disappointing, lots of heavy batter conceal the oysters. Baked salmon overdone. Childâs Mac and cheese ok. Muscles very good. Lobster bisque full of lobster. Price reasonable. Service ok. Our watres was over worked with tables inside and out.We will not return.

There's something to be said for feeling "at home" even when you're out on the town. We'd like to think Stomping Grounds Grille is the embodiment of that feeling. It's that cozy Cape Cod cuisine you've grown to love with a funky, creative vibe. We wanted
Ate here with another couple in late September. Summer crowd mostly gone. A small cozy restaurant in a fascinating old house. Service was attentive and competent. Food was very good but not great. Excellent presentation. Recommend. Not sure how loud it would be in full summer swing.
