Frederick's has been owned and operated by a brother, sister duo for 25 years. A large dining room situates the inside of the building along with a lounge area near the bar with 7 tables, large flat screen tv's and quickdraw are a large draw to the bar. W
We are staying at The Sagamore and decided to walk into town for dinner. We wanted something super casual and hearty after being in the car for a few hours. We found Fredrickâs and weâre delighted with the choice. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating and an Adirondack decor. We sat in front of a large fireplace by the bar. Very friendly service. Food was quite good. I enjoyed a tasty cypress chicken panini and my husband loved his homemade chicken pot pie. Nice beer selection too, would definitely recommend!

We had the kindest waitress inside the lobby bar who served us promptly and with a smile. We had just walked back from town after dinner and wanted a relaxing drink/dessert by the fireplace. We both got specialty coffees (Irish coffee and another one, can't remember the name!) Both were served with the best whipped cream ever! We also got gelato, which was excellent! We were so relaxed and satisfied! Highly recommend!

Attending a conference at The Sagamore and decided to have dinner on site tonight. Felt like something a little more casual so I went to Mr Brown's Pub. Has a little table overlooking Lake George as the sun went down. The fish and chips was superior. Big meaty pieces of flaky cod in a light beer batter. The menu isn't huge but a nice selection of burgers, sandwiches and entrees. Had a big piece of chocolate cake for dessert which was very sweet. Would definitely come back. Would like you to try the mahi mahi sandwich too.

Perfect views of mountains and the lake, many dining establishment options, including lakeside bar and the setting is lovely. The goid and service was wonderful with one exception. The night we dined with two other couples with several surf and turf orders and 2 bottles of wine with dinner, we were brought white wine glasses but we had ordered red. We asked for the goblet style of glass as we noticed on other tables but since the bottles we ordered were not over $100 each, the manager told the server Kim that those glasses were for the more expensive wines. Ultimately the server interceded but really?

Microbrewery with beautiful, spacious tap room, with a view of Lake George. Beer is made on premise, in our 7 barrel brew house. Tap room serves 8 beers as well as a small bites menu. Family friendly.
Like many other breweries, Bolton Landing is a nice place to visit, but has more of a restaurant/cafe feel than brewery. Don't get me wrong.....the place is clean, bright, and sells good food, but the shiny surfaces and chrome chairs just didn't have the "real feel" of a craft brewery. I don't even remember if they offer flights, or if I had one. However, they do offer Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc ($8.00) which is a VERY nice wine and the Paradise Bay IPA ($7.00) had a nice, smooth flavor. But I prefer the kind of IPAs that you have to chew to get down.Food was great: fries ($4.00), bratwurst ($9.00) and wings ($8.00) were all tasty and nicely presented.Staff very friendly and service was fast; it's also nice that Lake George can be seen from your table. Definitely worth a stop.

The Algonquin is happy to welcome back friends and families for the 2017 season! Join us Wed-Sun for lunch and dinner, inside and out... as soon as the sun warms those decks! New Artisan Pizzas, Aracini and more... the lake fun is back!
We had dinner here the other night, it was wonderful. When we drove up we were afraid there would be a wait, the parking lot was pretty full, fortunately we were seated right away at an outside table (our choice). The atmosphere was lovely, there was a little chill in the air so we were a bit jealous of the tables with the outdoor heaters, they should get more for the rest of the outside dining spaces! We all had the New England chowder, it was delicious, thick and creamy and the rolls and butter were great. I had the seafood scampi, very good, super tender scallops, shrimp and a crab leg on top! My husband had a shrimp and scallop pomodoro with angel hair, he loved it, and our daughter had blackened halibut, also delicious. Unfortunately we were too full for desert. I would definitely come back here, great atmosphere.

Come and enjoy a one of a kind dining experience at The Huddle Kitchen & Bar in the heart of Bolton Landing, NY. Nestled on the shores of Lake George in the beautiful Adirondacks, The Huddle is the best place to get a delicious meal, fantastic drinks, and
The Huddle is a very attractive restaurant with a nice outside eating area. The service was friendly and efficient, and the food was very tasty. However, the portion serving for the lobster rolls was disappointing. When it was brought to the waiters attention, a cost reduction was issued as well as an apology. I would certainly give The Huddle another chance when in the area. The town has a free parking lot next to the restaurant. If I had more time I would have taken a walk around the charming town.

We are local and after years of wanting to try this place out, we did. We had a great lunch on a beautiful day, seated on the deck with an awesome view of Lake George. Parking is somewhat difficult here but they have someone directing you and if the walk to too far, they have an attendant take you right up to the restaurant entrance. While on the property, don't forget to check out their Koi Pond.

Excellent place. Great waiter, too. Scallops appetizer was absolutely scrumptious and worth every penny.
