It was a rainy Sunday night, not very busy and a return trip to an old favorite.Food will be cooked to order and they can eliminate some of the seasons if you wish.My companion said her veal was the best she has tasted. My grilled salmon was moist and flavorsome. It comes with a salad and vegetables or pasta and home made bread. Waitstaff very pleasant and accommodating. They do have a liquor license so no BYO.

Great beer list! Thats where my compliments end. It is your typical bar food. If you like that sort of thing you'll probably enjoy it. I want more than just a bunch of deep fried food. The service was average but our waitress came out of the restroom with her apron on. Thats a big no no! Grossly unsanitary! Won't be back.

I did not like their new Southwestern Salad. It was a sirloin so I should have known it would be chewy. It was served over iceberg lettuce with fried wonton on top. I didnt eat part of it because it was too chewy. Their onion rings were very crunky and was tasty! We were seated quickly but the wait time for our food was close to 1/2 hr because the restaurant was packed with customers. Would I go back? Not for a while....

Sitting outdoors here on a lovely late spring day is quite nice. Our waiter, Cody, was the best: he was able to provide great comebacks for my brotherâs offbeat humor, was attentive, and was courteous. We had the calamari which were good but the sauce (what was that?) doesnât pair well. The wings were good but so sticky--we shouldâve been provided wet-naps! The desserts are disgustingly too large, and my mother thought the crab sandwich had too much filler. Actually, it was Cody who made our visit here great.

I recently revisited the Village Pub with my son for drinks. I had been to this bar/eatery previously. I was really disappointed to hear that they had changed their âhappy hourâ menu to exclude wings from the 1/2 off list. Aside from that, the service was very good and the food was good. To Trip Advisor User, Thank you very much for this great review you gave us, greatly appreciated. As for the wings, we had to remove them due to the fact that our wings are not cheap. We barely cover food cost at regular price, honestly. From all of us here at the Village Pub, thank you very much for your business. The Management.

Actually dined here twice in the same week, weekday lunch & Sunday Brunch. The food was plentiful & delicious at both visits. Service & attention to detail was extremely lacking at lunch. Waitress was either new or very poorly trained. On the way out, bought two desserts to go at the bakery counter, got home & they didnât give me the desserts I requested - totally disappointed!Sunday Brunch our waitress was wonderful! Very pleasant & efficient! The brunch is pricey but there is truly something for everyone! Go hungry!

Took my mom for a late lunch early dinner. Service was extremely friendly & good. We shared a veggie thin pizza which was delicious. We also split the lobster roll since its a seasonal dish. It is very small & not really worth the money. I have been to other Chicago Uno & food on regular menu has always been consistently good. Will return

Their crab bisque is amazing. Definitely worth a trip alone. They have a good selection of local beer. The menu is sandwiches, salads, appetizers, burgers and pizza. We had the BLT sandwich and the grilled cheese both of them were delicious. The place is definitely a big meeting spot with the locals. Definitely worth a trip.
