Everything was freshly made and delicious. I had Cuban pananni sandwich with side salad. My daughter had fried chicken, mashed potatoes and collard greens. My son had the shrimp and chicken chorizo pasta. All great. Atmosphere was fun.

The food is hit-or-miss and Mike has resisted including many vegan or vegetarian options, despite a growing range of tasty options. It's geared towards folks who like a super loud (aka "vibrant") atmosphere. I prefer to hear my table mates.Been going for 20-some years. Love the shop and his leadership in the community, but we've found the restaurant lackluster, given the growing options.

Stopped here on a business trip with my friends. They have nice seafood menu that is reasonably priced. Wide selection of beer to include Yuengling on draft which is always awesome. Plenty of TVs to watch whatever sport you are interested in.

A student type of restaurant just around the corner from the University of Maryland in College Park. It offers board games for the patrons to play which enjoying their food, beer or coffee. All 3 of us had the Pesto Chicken sandwiches on ciabatta bread. We all enjoyed this tasty dish which included a slice of tomato, marinated grilled chicken, bacon, lettuce, a Basil Pesto, and melted Provolone cheese. Our waitress had very little understanding of the many premium beers they serve and could not come up with an equivalent to a good Pilsner. Otherwise service was average.

Never been a HUGE fan of this venue, but this visit was better than most. I mean, we actually got a server after about 5 minutes. The music is a little loud and inhibits conversation, but I understand... It's a happy hour bar in a College town. At least our server, Juliet, was happy, peppy, and generally cordial. The food wasn't too bad this round, either. Oh, and the Spicy Passion fruit margarita was really good... Even if it wasn't hand shaken, served tableside, as the menu suggested.

While staying at the Sheraton for work for a week, I went to this restaurant and bar every night. I ate dinner a couple of times, but enjoyed drinks every night. The staff at the bar are very friendly and helpful. The manager of the food service program for this hotel and restaurant is Blessing and heâs amazing! He offers the best service and is very friendly and outgoing! His staff is also perfect! Manna, one of the servers, was very helpful and friendly, definitely appreciated her going the extra mile to ensure we were being taken care of each time we all visited. The food⦠unfortunately thatâs a different story⦠The rib eye was pretty tasty, but was only ½â thick. No rib eye should ever be cut that thin. The burger had a hard, almost stale bread, but the meat was decent. The chicken wings were horrible, I could hit them with the fork and they sounded hard, like hitting hard plastic. Even though our food was taken care of in this restaurant for the week, we chose to eat at other places a few nights. I attribute this to the lack of having fresh food, since they arenât very busy for lunch and dinner. But when it came to breakfast, they had really good scrambled eggs! The toast bread on the buffet at breakfast was somewhat dried and stale, but the bacon was awesome. Their OJ was really good too. One thing they did REALLY NICE was their saladsâ¦. I enjoyed salad every day, whether for lunch or dinner and the lettuces and everything else were very fresh! Their balsamic dressing is made in-house and is really tasty⦠absolutely loved it and tried it several times! The venue was clean and nicely set-up/decorated. We enjoyed being there for hours, sitting and enjoying wine or drinks over nice conversation. They do have a decent selection of wines available. They also have a happy hour which is pretty decent. So, while staying at this property, I would suggest stopping in⦠at a minimum, enjoy happy hour for a drink and maybe something to nosh on. But definitely enjoy the really good service from the crew at the bar!

I went back to Rems (as it's locally known) after two months away while they renovated. I'm very, VERY impressed with the new look and feel of the place; it's much more open, modern and fresh. Rems may be in a blue collar neighborhood but the new feel -- including a rejuvenated sense of pride in the staff -- makes this place feel a whole lot more classy than the surroundings. It's almost like John Taffer (from the TV series Bar Rescue) had a hand in the renovations.I haven't had many of the menu items since the reopening but the things I have tried -- 4-cheese grilled sandwich, soups and the BBBburger (bacon & bleu) -- have all been great so far. Heck, just writing this is making me hungry. In fact I'm going to head over there now and take care of that. I recommend anyone give the new, improved Rems a try.

There is no redeeming quality to this place period. The Chile was God awful (we tried two different kinds). My wife ordered salmon (questionable call I know) and it was inedible. On top of that the place feels old and kind or dirty. Choose somewhere else.

After a long day of sales, thought I'd go next door and give the Old Line Bistro a shot. First, you walk thru a spacious, well stocked liquor store, huge wine & beer selection. The Bistro is in the back, also spacious with tables and a long, L shaped sit down bar. The menu is limited but intriguing. I ordered a craft brew and spaghetti squash with prawns. Excellent! So good, I went again the following night. Fried Brussel sprouts (The best!) and sauteed zucchini & squash appetizer with a hamburger to go (Thursday is hamburger special night). Highly recommend. Thanks so much for stopping by Old Line and taking the time to leave us this wonderful review, we really appreciate it. It's great hearing how much our guests enjoy the unique experience we've created here, thank you for mentioning some of the highlights from your visit. We'll see you next time you stop by, have a great week!
