Submarine House, or Sub House as many refer to it today, still has their famous Cheese steak as its trademark sub. It has been so successful, that they started offering more. More cheese. More steak. More sub. Sub House created the Super Cheese steak for
Submarine House has had some of the best subs in Dayton area for over 25 years. Love Cheesesteak with mushrooms! Their fried mushrooms are also great.

We appreciate their Two for $20 Menu! We usually leave happy and full. The "Must Have" Item on the menu is unquestionably their Molten Lava Cake (for Dessert) - save room, because it is the best dessert anywhere in Dayton!!!The Staff is friendly, but sometimes have too many tables to be able to be as attentive as one might like. However, they deliver service that is comparable to - if not better than - most.I hope you have as much fun there as we do - its among our favorite affordable restaurants!Very Respectfully,~ Danny

Melt opened in September 2006 with one goal: To provide gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches and as many beers as possible in a cool and comfortable environment. No bar food. No boring choices on tap. And something for everyone: it's Cleveland-friendly, slig
Went back to Melt, and just went with the Melt Burger. Service was faster this time (they were dead). The burger combined with the buttered bread, was just too greasy, and I can handle a little grease. Fries were good. Just really not impressed with this place. Perhaps grilled cheeses will have a better result. With lots to choose from in Beavercreek, I don't see myself returning.

Stopped in after leaving the customer location and had dinner with a couple co-workers. Food was very good and service was good as well. Quite a wait to get in the door although once in we were served pretty quickly. All had good plates and good service. No complaints from this group!

Everyone enjoyed their meal after we were moved from the open window area. It was close to sunset and it was a very sunny area. The sun was blinding for one person so we were moved to another part of the dining room. The burgers were cooked exactly as ordered. The fries were hot. It was an enjoyable meal.We are so happy to hear you had a positive experience at MacKenzie River Pizza, Grill & Pub. Thank you for taking the time to share, and we hope to see you again soon.

I really like the setup of the restaurant with the order counter and beer tap area. The food is a little pricey for the size of sandwich that you receive. The food was just ok. Nothing special or interesting to bring me back. If sandwich had more meat like some delis or the price was more reasonable I would return. The location is not the best for takeout. No place to park nearby.

This place has an incredible beer selection on draft. Away from malls and busy areas, this sure is a hidden gem. Plenty of pool tables, great food prices, nice serving size. Just a great place to meet people and enjoy from a wonderful choice of draft beers.

Other restaurants had waits of an hour plus. This place was busy too, but got us seated within 15 min.Place is quaint, with a beautiful old style wooden bar and English ambiance galore. The Kongâs chairs at one of the tables were so cool! Lions heads carved into the hand grips.Service was fast. Food had many English type choices (pot roast, fish and chips etc). Was very good!Would come back here!If the Greene is busy, this is the place to go to have a shorter wait and good food!

Thanks to the incredibly helpful folks at Pies and Pints, we were able to host our son and now daughter-in-laws wedding rehearsal dinner with carry out "pies" which were incredible and disappeared! The bride and groom insisted that this was their food of choice and could not have been more pleased!! Okay, maybe if we'd had a few more "pies"!!Thanks for the awesome review, Peggy! We're so happy for the opportunity to have been a part of their special day :)
