Went for happy hour and sat upstairs on the deck. Nice views of the bay. Ryan, the bartender was fantastic. Great service and conversation. The reason I gave this a 3 is because of the price of a local ipa. Kane Head High, which in all of the local bars on the island is $7 (which is pricey but expected for LBI) is $9 here!!!! Thatâs an absurd price for a local ipa. Wonât go back because of this. A shame because there arenât many local places like this.

The manager and the staff do not care about customer service. We were there for happy hour and were at the elevated tables that are close to the bar. They refused to give us happy hour prices at those bar tables. After we protested, they ignored us and then the Manager came over. She was rude and nasty. She should be canned as she has no regard for customers. It should be renamed the Terrible Terrace Tavern. My advice - take your business somewhere else!

My husband and I stumbled upon this Hotel on accident while spending the day at the beach. What an awesome location! Albiet very outdated; They have a nice little outdoor bar/ patio area to order food and drinks. Its nothing fancy but the drink prices were reasonable and you cant beat being right on the beach and being able to take your drink back to your chair. We didn't order food but everything that was coming out looked delicious. Looking forward to going back and trying the crab cakes and some of the specialty cocktails. Its a very relaxing atmosphere with Jimmy Buffet playing in the background. The bartenders weren't overly friendly but they got the job done. If you're the type that likes to relax on the beach and go have a drink or two to escape the heat, this is the perfect place. Glad we stumbled upon it.

Beer and wine selection is impressive but the fresh seafood is the spotlight. Oysters (Del Bay); Shrimp; and, Steamers hit the spot. Pizza for the young kids however, even they loved the fresh steamed shrimp. And, they even tried the steamers. Pizza was good, if nothing more than a filler for the kids.

Kubel's Too is a full-service, family restaurant, offering a variety of distinctive entrees. Among the best are our signature crab cakes, old fashioned crab pie, Barnegat Bay scallops and sizzling sirloin steak. Homemade clam chowder and half-pound hambur
I was told that Kubel's Too was under different management then Kubel's by the lighthouse which was undergoing some updating. Yes, there is a big difference in food and service and of course atmosphere. This was an ok stop for some onion soup, burger and a beer. Since we were down the shore for Easter weekend there were some what limited options available. Probably not make a return trip.

Completely rebuilt after Hurricane Sandy, the Sea Shell Resort is nestled on two beautiful ocean front acres in the heart of Beach Haven just steps away from the beach. Outdoors on the deck we feature LBI's only Tiki authentic bar and our super popular Pa
The food was good but the service wasnât great at the restaurant the server took half of an hour to give us drinks and the food was just ok probably will not return We a sorry that you experienced slow service. We often times serve in excess of one thousand lunches and four hundred dinners per night. We are super popular and often times extremely busy, which can slow things down a bit, but again no excuse. Give us another try.

A Beach Haven favorite inspired by the best American Taverns and English pubs. Tuckers Tavern will satisfy your appetite for great food, friends and good times. Enjoy our gastro-pub menu, raw bar and local coastal favorites with an ever-changing selection
If the weather is good head to Buoy Bar (roof top deck) before dinner. The rooftop is great - usually a breeze and nice views! Dinner was good too. Only problem - expensive!

We stopped by for lunch after arriving on the island and checking into our hotel. Can never get into Buckalews during the season so we took advantage. Hadn't been to the island since the hurricane. Beautifully redone interior. Photos of reconstruction told a great story. Food was delicious. Service was great, drink recommendations were spot-on. Totally explained why it is so busy in season. Definitely not to be missed if visiting the island.

There is just not enough of these places that do it well, this place does. Not a large joint, but a long bar and about 6-7 bar size tables. A very sleek atmosphere. Drinks and food served quickly and friendly. Not once did I need to ask for a refill. Nice selection of bar style fare with an emphasis on shelled seafood. Will put the Oyster House on my short list going forward. Nicely done.

We did make reservations a few days in advance and were seated on time immediately in a great booth. Service was prompt and great recommendations. We had the fish special, oysters and a very nice moderate wine. Great place with wonderful fish and a true shore vibe.
