I am disappointed in writing this review because once subscribers view it it will become too popular!In line with most of the reviews, the food is well prepared and carefully plated. Our group sampled most of the food on offer and we're delighted with all the fayre. I personally ordered the Chicken Stir fry for the main dish and the apple pie and custard as the dessertThe stir fry was delicately spiced with just enough pepper to trigger a little tingle in the mouth. The sauce was not too salty and gave the dish an exquisite flavour.The home made apple pie specially bought in was delicious arriving at the table ready too eat, not overly heated as you find in some restaurants, the custard was smooth and creamy. The pastry was light and well cooked, not like the stodge that is often served in the fast food restaurants.The staff were engaging, well turned out and polite.This is one of the cleanest establishments that I have had the pleasure of eating in during my trip to IrelandThe only concern I had was a broken toilet seat in the Gents toilet, which slipped away when sitting on it.The management were aware of it and promised to have it fixed after the bank holiday.The bar is well run, and with the assurance from the management that the toilet would be repaired I feel that they genuinely deserve the five points awarded for their service, cleanliness and delicious food.

Great bar across from the church.Enjoyed a good last night in town here,drinking and listening to good music.Amazing service knew we were tourist visiting and would not let us walk back to hotel,but insisted on one of theie employees dropping us off.

This restaurant is well located in a nice quiet location but yet only 3 minutes drive from the galway -Dublin motorway. However when we called in on a Sunday evening at 7.45 we were told very clinically that we were too late for food service. We drove on about 20 kms further and had an enjoyable pub meal elsewhere. Would not return after that first impression. :-(

We moored the boat at Shannonbridge on Saturday the 25th of May 2019. We visited Killeens for live music and fun after dinner... This is a pub with a difference... a must see if in the area. The grocery store converts into a pub at night, so you can buy cookies etc to enjoy with your pint of plain!! Unmissable
