Hubby and I stopped in here for an adult beverage on a Saturday night. The service in this place is absolutely terrible! The bartenders were more interested in talking to each other than serving customers and it was so frustrating! We had to get the bartenders attention twice to order our drinks - and we were sitting at the bar! They really need to clean their act up here. On the plus side, the atmosphere and music were great, however that alone would not encourage us to visit again.

Visiting family in this area and stopped in here for a late lunch. Good variety of food on menu, service was very good and quality of food was good. I had fried shrimp and shrimp were nice and big. French fries very good. My husband had gumbo and it was very good. Fresh oyster tasty. Would recommend. Did have a person singing and kind of loud but most enjoyed his singing.

It was a family reunion that filled two long tables by large windows with a water view. While waiting for our very satisfying meals, the children danced to music out on the dock, and the rest of us were entertained while drinking our favorite beverages. Our server, RICHARD, was exceptional and that is a word that I reserve for the best kind of service, no matter the venue. He worked with an ever-present smile and didn't miss a beat.

Voted by GQ Magazine as âtop 25 anti-restaurantsâ. Known for our famous open flame grilled oysters that come straight from boat to table!
We enjoyed our lunch here - we were the ONLY non-locals in the place. We were treated very well by the waitstaff - pleasant, prompt, with great recommendations. Don't miss the shrimp slaw. The fried shrimp were nice. A down-home Texas tavern and seafood spot - worth a visit!

OMG is all I can say about the grilled oysters! We tried the trio and couldnât decide which ones we liked best! I had the shrimp and crab tower which is the best salad Iâve had and such great presentation! Followed it by the most delicious dessert which is so reasonably priced. After the great meal we saw the sign for snow crab Thursday do we were back and had more delicious items like grilled oysters again becuz were in love with them, snow crab which was delicious with light seasoning and then key lime pie which was exceptional! I like the ambiance of the bar and patio which is enclosed!! Service was exceptional both times: Melissa you rock!!!

Honoring its history, The Flying Dutchman serves legendary seafood on the waterfront. One of the best seafood restaurants in Kemah, our fresh selections have delighted guests on the boardwalk for decades. We offer a variety of fresh seafood dishes from li
We were here as part of a group from our community for dinner. I was looking forward to some good seafood and I was very disappointed as was my husband. First of all, the service was not the friendliest or speedy, but it wasnât slow. Servings were large and so were the prices. My husband had a shrimp salad and clam chowder. He liked the chowder but the shrimp salad was very spicy although it didnât say it was on the menu. The waiter argued with him that it wasnât spicy and refused to do anything about it. I tried it as did my friend and we both agreed it was spicy. My popcorn shrimp had more breading than shrimp. The coleslaw did not look fresh and no one ate it. I left over most of my fries. My friend had the fish and chips which she shared and we both agreed weâve had better at other restaurants. The restaurant was on the water and it had nice views and that was about it. I will not return any time soon for sure. There are better, more reasonably priced places to eat. Itâs on the Kemah Boardwalk which is quite touristy.

Usually we love Bubba Gump Shrimp. The food is great and so is the restaurant theming. But this time, the waitress forgot to put our order through and we waited an hour for them to fix the issue. Shame. Spoiled an otherwise good review.

We are local folks that just love this place. If you are in the mood for a good burger you have to stop here. The onion rings everyone raves about but me personally I like the thin ones better. It is a fun atmosphere located walking distance from the Kemah Boardwalk. Even the chicken sandwiches are yummy. The staff is very friendly and helpful if you want to create your own type of burger.

We walked in and stood at the door for over five minutes until my husband went looking for someone to seat us. While standing there the smell was bad, booze and urine were the only things I smelled, no food. We were finally seated and the menu was unbelievable. For the looks and smell of the place it was VERY overpriced. Entrees were $22.00 and up. The waitress finally came back to us and I decided that I really would not feel safe eating there so we left.
