The Tap house has stunning views - over the beach - innovative food and isnât too pricy. So why the low score? Chatting with the waiter he suddenly, for no reason, said how he didnât approve be of gay people because they were âagainst natureâ.I donât expect to have to put up with offensive views from restaurant staff and it ruined our experience. So if you are gay, or have gay friends or relations or simply donât want to hear homophobic comments with your meal - avoid this restaurant. And, yes, thatâs why you didnât get a tip. Dear costumer,Thank you for your review on our restaurant. We are deeply sorry to hear that you had a bad experience in our establishment. We would like to make clear that we do not condone this type of behaviour. The Tap House is an establishment that serves and respects all kinds of people, regardless of race, gender, religion or sexual orientation. We are sorry once again for this episode.Kind greetings,Tap House team

Food is great, with Great choices of tapas, friendly service, staff speak English, atmosphere is very convivial.....to avoid disappointment book your table on an evening at least one day before!.Andrea, is a great hostess and manages the team looking after guests....... Often live music is resonating around the old giant plane tree in the middle of the Praça.... Being accompanies by the hundreds of birds that gather in the tree!....

Ths is the place to start a night out. They're specialized in little bones (ossinhos) which a Portuguese tapas style food that you eat the meat atached to the pieces of bones that are "leftovers" of the slaughter house. Sounds creepy but it's delicious along with a lot of beer!

Taifa is not a Cafe. Taifa is not a Restaurant. Taifa is not a bar. Taifa is all the above, and much more... Thai, Fusion and Vegan food. Natural Juices, Beers and Cocktails. Live world music!
Top! Very good tasty mixed origins food. Enough starters and mains to enjoy the experience. Fruit juices available. Chicken and prawn satay very good. Chicken and prawn Pad Thai was very tasty. Couple of choices for home made dessert. Very nice service. Easy parking nearby. 10-15/pax. A must go!

Great little family restaurant, with options to sit inside or outside. We had burgers with fries which are delicious and onion rings with garlic mayo. I found my burger a little dry, this is my only critism... but other than that we were happy. My kids loved their meals (5.50 for kids burger fries and drink) amazing value. Staff were busy but attentive and made great effort with the kids. Definitely would go back
