Typical brewery, with some nice outdoor areas, and great on-site food option. Unfortunately the kitchen was running seriously behind and it too over and hour for food to arrive. It would have been nice to know there was a delay-but it was delish when it finally arrived, and there was no indication in reviews this is the norm, but you may want to ask before ordering how long it's taking. Burger was one of the best I've had in recent memory, which includes one of Atlanta's "top" burgers! So sorry for the delay in your meal! It can happen sometimes getting an unusual pop on a Monday night, but hope you are able to hang out with us again. Hope the burger might have made up for your wait, Rise Above Deli does an awesome job!!

We were going to eat at the Stable restaurant at the Biltmore but the front desk clerk at our hotel said to try this place as the food was just as good at a less expensive price. And she was right. Our waitress was pleasant and brought us our food quickly. Menu has decent choices. Located in a good location in Biltmore village, it is close to the Biltmore after spending a couple hours on a tour. The only negative is that parking can be difficult to find.

it is mostly a younger crowd who were hanging out there and we felt a big old but we tried it anyway. Glad we did. Enjoyed by all. I had a fried chicken burger - so good! For those who drank beer they enjoyed the different concoctions. Don't be out off by the rough facade or you will miss out on a great meal.

We went to Avenue M for the first time recently and the thing that immediately struck me was how relaxed everyone was. It seemed like your neighborhood restaurant where everyone knows what to expect. Just a nice relaxed chill feeling. We had vegetarian entrees which were very good. Also, we went on a Wednesday night, which happened to be 1/2 price bottle night. Our selection of a Malbec was very nice. So, good food, good service and a nice atmosphere makes this a place we will return to.

Very big seating area with opens onto the street, huge bar area in blond woods. Noise level was high with maybe a third of the seats occupied. Well worth the visit. This is a delightful spot. There is almost always some form of entertainment, and it’s usually really good. (If you’re unfamiliar with who’s playing, you can usually listen to a sample on this venue’s website.) The acoustics are quite good. The ambiance is friendly; even though they manage to pack a lot of patrons into the space, it’s likely you’ll be seated next to simpatico people with whom you might share a conversation. And the food is imaginative—and absolutely delicious. (Our nachos, for instance, were amazing—and boasted a good amount of duck.) My only “complaint” with the food was that their online menu showed offerings that weren’t on the actual menu. Prices for wine are fairly reasonable. The servers tend to be a bit abrupt; however, when one is trying to serve myriad tables at essentially the same time, there is no time for a lot of chit-chat.
