Made reservation day of our visit. My first inquiry resulted in a we are full tonight but when I said we were disappointed they were full the reservation person said hold on a minute I think weâve had a cancellation, Iâll be right back to you. Sure enough we were able to get a reservation but advised that we would need to vacate the table after an hour and 45 minutes. No problem. Drinks and Bergerâs were very good and we were on our way in the allotted time. Thanks for fitting us in.

The Iron Whale, located on the Boardwalk in Asbury Park, features a rustic, yet contemporary design in the spirit of seafarers, with prominent reclaimed wood, ropes, and gas lanterns. The menu features inventive takes on seafood and it also includes a wid
Cheerful greeting and prompt seating with boardwalk/ocean views from most tables (outdoor boardwalk option in season). Good bar. We shared a good New England chowder and ordered lunch from a tight menu with something for most tastes, from a frittata to burgers and salads. Enjoyable setting, food and service. Only few hundred feet south of the Asbury Convention Hall makes it a pick before or after events.

I visited on a hot Thursday afternoon. It was not busy. I enjoyed the quiet ambience. I imagine at prime time the place is lively. I saw dogs enjoying a meal on the outdoor patio with their people -- and I applaud dog-friendly restaurants. That made points with me even though I had no dog with me.There was one woman serving as hostess and server. She was very pleasant and welcoming. I had an order of deviled eggs and a plate of buffalo wings. The eggs were OK. The order of wings is large -- plenty for a meal. I also had a glass of red Sangria -- it was the best part of the meal. Laurel and Hardy movies were looped on the television. I would like to return here to try their entrees. But, for pub grub like I had I rate it pretty good.

Situated on the Asbury Park Boardwalk, with a mélange of artists, surfers, musicians, denizens and lovers of salt air and sandy toes, Langosta Lounge encapsulates the perfect blend of city and sea, lounge and restaurant, vacation and mid-week escape. Open
This would normally be considered a dive bar at most other locations, but in Asbury Park it is a vibrant and well-visited spot, and the "dive" destinction is lost. Decent bar food, and great live music all the time. It does not draw headliners for the stage -- but that's the charm of it because you often get to see really talented musicians who (for whatever reason) never really "made it big" or "broke into" the industry, yet still love to create good music. So this is their home, and the patrons at LL get to enjoy it while drinking their fav drink and eating decent bar food.

The pork roll, egg & cheddar sandwich served on a Hawaiian bun was delicious! As were the fries. Our server, Rachel, was terrific. Thanks!

Decided to try BR for a late dinner Friday nite. We got seats at the bar across from the barware wash station.First, we ordered glasses of wine, and after ordering, and waiting for 25 minutes, we had to ask to be served again. Our bartender was busy texting, and never brought us the glasses of ice water, we asked another bartender. We noticed 3 bartenders, just standing around and not clearing the counters around us, and then the barware continued piling up. There was no more room for the servers to drop off dirty glasses. There were at least 3 people who looked in the washer, which was empty, but never loaded it. Finally a tall guy shows up and begins to load the glassware. You could tell he did not want to be there. A manager finally came over and addressed the situation, and now the mess begins. The washer would place clean glasses amongst the dirty glasses. Another guy appeared and proceeds to place dirty and clean glasses in the overhead holder to make room on the counter. We were not the only ones who noticed. We then watched as the washer would reload clean glasses, without even checking. The food was then served and prepared incorrectly, and at this point we wanted to leave, as we had lost our appetite. We have crossed this place off our list, and there are plenty of options elsewhere.

Tried this place for the first time on our way home from a trip. We pretty much had the restaurant to ourselves so how could the service be bad right? We ordered an appetizer to split the I got the salmon Mac n cheese and broccoli. My husband got a sliced filet mignon sandwich with Mac n cheese. The appetizer never came. Our dinners came out. My husbands meet was rare he had asked for it medium. The broccoli was pretty much raw. The drink I asked for was not very good. Def did not taste like top shelf vodka. I was disappointed

Asbury's premier beachfront gathering spot. Part sophisticated drinkery and tapas bar, part music lounge and social club, Watermark's environment is contemporary yet comfortable, refined yet relaxed, upscale yet inclusive.
Visited with a friend who I havenât seen for awhile. Beautiful space with unusual lamps on the ceiling, large windows and stunning views of the ocean and an incredible sunset sky. Waiters were attentive and the hot spinach and cheese dip with chips was delicious. Large couches , upright high top seating facing the windows and a regular bar area. Also an outdoor seating area , weather permitting and an indoor fireplace area . Great music and a great evening , capped off by a walk on the boardwalk!

Homey atmosphere and good food at this family-friendly restaurant. Pizza was delicious but be aware that it is bar pie size -- get at least two if you are with a few people. Good music and decent service. Try to get a seat outside if weather permits; less noisy and more comfortable.

Asbury Festhalle & Biergarten brings an authentic biergarten experience to Asbury Park, a tradition that Europeans have enjoyed for centuries - communal tables where friends and strangers mingle in a lively, friendly atmosphere, energized by a regular sch
I struggle with the rating as the food was really great. As a German I can say that it was very authentic. The Wiener Schnitzel was tender with a crispy breading. Potato salad and cucumber salad with mustard dressing tasted like home. The WeiÃwurst was like in Bavaria. Now here is what it spoiled it. The service was one of the worst I ever had. Nobody seated us as we entered. It took an eternity before we were asked for our order. They brought the wrong beer and instead of simply apologizing tried to defend themselves. After we got our food we never ever had the chance to oder another drink or were not offered any dessert. I hate eating on such a hostile atmosphere!
