Iâm here to tell you the burgers and grilled chicken sandwich at our table were great. And Iâm basing my rating on that. The burgers are a great portioned 8 Oz patties, that taste freshly charbroiled and were juicy and delicious. My sweet potato waffle fries and the regular fries were great as well. These great sandwiches are just the same price or $1 more than a fast food drive through combo and WELL worth it. Casual atmosphere kinda upscale burger joint, food served on simple pie plate with checked paper liner. Now the slight downside-there is a limited menu at The Boondocks. They do have appetizers and and salads as well as a few entrées other than burgers or bird dogs, but donât let that stop you if youâre in the mood for great burger, go there. I always like to use the Trip Adviser app to check out places and there is almost always a link to the restaurantsâ websites to view their menu, and itâs good to view the menu before going to get an idea of what they have or if itâs what youâre in the mood for. Recommend The Boondocks for a casual great burger meal.

Whether you're dining-in, ordering online for carryout, or placing a delivery order, the best food can be found here. Our BYOB (Build Your Own) burgers are hand crafted with 100% beef. Seafood? We've got that too. It makes sense, seeing as how the first H
Abby is one of the newest girls at Hooters of Anderson. Sweeter than the tea! Jalapeno poppers wrapped in bacon, shrimp tossed with original hot, tater tots, chicken strips, and we are full. I like trying new dishes, Hooters really needs to go back to the butter based sauces. I really hope that since the one of the owners left to open Twin Peaks that the quality of food is not going to suffer. Service was excellent. Food hot. Thank you.

Oysters were good. The crab legs (supposed to be 1 pound), were only two small clusters, not a pound. The waiter forgot to bring them. Ok...sometimes things like that happen. They also have a shady practice of adding 3.75% tax added to all credit/debit card transactions. They do have little signs around the restaurant warning about it, but it's just sleazy.

We stopped in here after leaving a horrible place just down the road. I had not checked their reviews but we were very pleased with our steak and food overall. Service was outstanding and timely. Steaks cooked perfectly. Place was packed so it was obvious a good local place. We would return without hesitation.

Lakefront restaurant with plenty of lake view seating outside and comfy booths inside. Full bar with craft cocktails and cold draft beer and varied menu featuring casual pub food such as fish and chips, wings, tacos and pizza with some upscale options lik
It's basically our weekly ritual to go to the local (by boat!). The food is fabulous. We usually get the steak special and it is always cooked to perfection. They always have special sides.. apps... and drinks! - all of which do not disappoint! Alana and Tucker are amazing!! Highly recommend the Local!

Raines is a locally owned eatery in downtown Anderson. I do wish they offered some more healthy food options because much of it is fried, especially the appetizers. However, if you are looking for a burger basket or something along those lines, Raines would be a good place to go. Their Happy Hour is a good deal but there are no food specials at Happy Hour.

We stopped in on a Thursday early evening. The place was not that busy. The front seating staff was very friendly and we were seated promptly. Our waiter was very attentive and his follow through was excellent. I ordered the shrimp and flounder plate with broccoli and a salad. My dining partner ordered the early bird special of prime rib with their mashed potatoes and a salad also. We shared a bowl of the she crab soup. The soup was good, not great but acceptable. My shrimp and flounder were very good. It was fried, with not to much breading,so you could actually taste the fish and shrimp. The prime rib was a very nice cut, and exceptionally tender. The potatoes it came with it weâre fantastic. The croissants that came with the salad were very nice touch and thank goodness they only brought out one each because we wouldâve over indulged ourselves because they were that good. And again the service and follow through were exceptional.

Tucked into the heart of downtown Anderson, SC, McGEE's IRISH PUB & RESTAURANT offers a distinct alternative to regular eating & drinking establishments. Diversity is the key to McGEE's special appeal. Business people appreciate the quality & value of our
Recently, my wife and I took part in the Market Theater Production of How I became a Pirate. During a late Sunday rehearsal, we wanted to grab a bite to eat and since McGee's is directly across the street we decided to go. I am partial to the seeming authenticity of this Irish pub, as the owners are Irish in descent (with accompanying accent traces) and the old school décor and requisite tiny stage area for band. The double shot of Jameson with Bangers and Mash are my "go to" whereas the wife prefers a "perfect pour" of Guinness and Shepard's Stew. We always depart full and happy but this time we were treated to the Bailey's Cheesecake and Crème Brulee. All entrée and desert were truly satisfying both to the stomach and to the soul. Even after the play is long over, we will seek out this restaurant whenever the "Pirate" in us calls to a hearty meal and a shanty from the heart. arrrrgh!

5 for the food and a 3.5 for atmosphere, decour and ambience. Very dark seating down to the wait staff uniforms. Food was exceptional. Crab soup maybe the best we've had. Home made fries were great. Loved the croissants. Nice menu just to dark inside.

This was our first visit and it didnât disappoint. The menu is filled with homemade menu options with some of the best known choices like shrimp and grits as well as seared tuna. The seared tuna was some of the best I have eaten and the barbecue nachos were tasty as well. The atmosphere has an old but charming feel. Everyone can find something to eat they will love.
