Bar Labyrinth is a home to the art of mixology — you’ll find it in the African-Caribean soul food, the music, the cultivation of spoken word and poetry and most certainly in the cocktails. Labyrinth is hosted by Sam Kingue Ebelle. Born in Cameroun, having
A perfect place to hang out with the most important ingredients: great friends, great drinks, great food and great music. Labyrinth is a really cosy neighbourhood lounge bar nicely decorated and with original programming and even DJ’s. Not being a drinker I asked for a virgin cocktail and a delicious one was whipped up for me after asking which ingredients I like or don’t like. Everything seems right about this place. Thank you Claire for reviewing Labyrinth. We love it that you liked the evening including the cocktails, food and music we had programmed. All events are mentioned on our website , if you like to know what is going on at Labyrinth. Till next time. Warm regards team Labyrinth

Burgers, hot dogs, steaks, chicken and lobster. We grill it and serve it with the finest wines, beers and cocktails. Our boys will toil seven days a week behind the grill to prepare the most delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner meals.
Went to this restaurant for the first time for dinner with colleagues and I was absolutely delighted with the char grilled rack of lamb I received. It was very simple, 3 x 3 hops, plus chips and coleslaw, but it was cooked to perfection and so tasty. I had a couple of glasses of a very good Malbec from Argentine and rounded the meal off with a delicious parfait. I loved it and am planning to return with friends very soon.

We had a lovely and tasty lunch by complete surprise. Great price we paid 16.50 and had a sandwich each (a lot of ingredients which were home made) and fries to share. The staff was very nice too!

Visited Drovers Dog on Friday evening for dinner. A relatively small menu choice raised my expectations however I left disappointed. I opted for the fish and chips and whilst it looked good I discovered that there were a significant number of scales still on the skin under the crispy batter - not impressed. Fish and chips isn’t that difficult to get right!

Situated on the rim of the buzing town of Amsterdam and facing the magnificent Amsterdam Forest, ''De Veranda'' (translated the Porch) is the right place for just about everything. Inviting, contemporary and with international allure. With a lively brasse
De Veranda is located near the Amsterdamse Bos with ample parking facilities nearby. The terrace offers a pleasant view of the green surroundings. The menu offers a variety of lunch dishes, which are reasonably priced and are attractively served. The service is pleasant but somewhat slow. The peaceful setting was unfortunately disturbed frequently by noise from the nearby Schiphol Airport.

When we were in Amstervellen it was really good weather so we were able to sit outside. When we arrived everything was full but the staff told us to waint inside and go to the bar to wait. 10 minutes later there was a free table for us and we could sit outside. They were really friendly and i thought that i was really a good service. The food was good and the cider we drank was delicious. We d love to came back again.

The Happy Bull is a burger restaurant located in Amsterdam South, near end of the Vondel park by the Hoofddorpplein. We specialize in hamburgers and milkshakes. Our love and passion for high quality food has quickly earned us the reputation of serving the
A less formal simple dinner with colleagues while travelling. We were looking for a place to relax and enjoy some straight forward food. The Happy Bull didn’t disappoint. We were joined by another colleague and although very busy the friendly and helpful staff were able to fit in one more. You do need to book. I’m not sure you can be certain of a table if you just drop in. Thankfully you can book via TripAdvisor. The food was very well done. The onion rings were great. We all went for a burger of some kind, and the options are extensive. They cater for all tastes with chicken and vegetarian options also available. The craft beer menu was good with a wide range of US beers to add to the Americana feel. Value for money was excellent too. Three of us were well fed with several beers for €35/head.

Visited Loetje on Tuesday 06 Aug 2019. 4 people two friends heading to Schiphol for their flight back home to the UK. We sat outside near the riverside. Ordered the 16 piece starter and meat balls in sauce. Delicious. We could have ordered another round! But we didn't for fear of not enjoying the main course. Next we all had the Beef Tenderloin with Loetje Jus. Thank goodness for the bread as we all moped our plates and we could have request more but we didn't like to be seen to be pigs. The Beef was succulent (medium rare) and more or less melted in the mouth. Chips were hot and browned beautifully - very tasty! The two salads (very tasty and nearly over flooded the dish) between 4 people were very generous and to be honest we could have just ordered 1 salad. I mean salad or chips "health conscious" or "bugger the diet!!!" Lol What would you choose? Lastly only two of us had a desert! Coffee liqueur and 2 chocolates. Perfect and our other guest had the Sticky Toffer Pudding. Again a good portion of the pudding with cream. We all had a taste by the way! This looked and tasted light and it was again delicious. A nice syrup helped the desert go down very well. Our friends admitted that they wished they had a similar restaurant close to them in County Durham, where they could go to for snacks or a main meal. They were also overwhelmed by the hospitality of the staff. Great experience!
