My wife and I enjoyed eating their very filling tartines as we sheltered inside the covered seating area watching the sail boarders out on the beach. They do a nice range of snacks and we found one small tartine each (garnished quite generously with salad) more than adequate. Basically the tartine is the French version of a rarebit. They also do waffles, sandwiches etc.Toute l'équipe des Sables d'Opale est heureuse que vous ayez passé un agréable moment.Nous vous remercions pour ces commentaires, agréables à lire, sur nos tartines à l'ancienne.Nous espérons vous revoir bientôt. Went to this restaurant after crossing through chunnel mainly because of previous good reports. We were not disappointed with the quality and quantity. About 80 mussells for starters and 130 for mains ( I had starter and wife had for main!!). Friendly and amusing owners. From an English point of view this was a proper French restaurant. Would go again.

We stopped here because our first few choices were full. We didnât realize how necessary a reservation was. I ordered the steak and it was really not good. From flavor to how it was cooked. The other steak was incredibly fatty. Our food also arrived within a few minutes of ordering which never seems like a good sign. The ice cream for dessert was fine and there was nothing wrong with the service. But for anything other than drinks or dessert I would skip this.

Wife & I were staying overnight at the Chateau de la Marine on 18th Aug, couldn't find it so we stopped at the local bar/ brasserie Le Denacre and asked for directions - the barman helped us hot, sweaty, weary travellers & let us use the loo without having a meal or a drink (too tired!). So next day we went there for lunch & to give him a proper thank you . . turned out the chef was also the owner & we had the best best mussels I've EVER had (and I've had a few!) - small mussels, which make a huge difference, and the broth full of very chunky veg, onions & herbs - seriously, don't miss it if you're in the area! I didn't get their names but they're great guys & a great little bar. Merci beaucoup mes amis! The only place we could find in Wimereux that would let us buy a coffee without having a sit-down meal with it. Also one of the few places that helped us with our attempts at French rather than stuffily switching to English. So a rare find! Good strong coffee with fast, straightforward service.

Simple to review.....if you like burgers, steaks or any type of barbecued food, you'll love this place! I've eaten burgers all over the world and Le Ranch ranks very highly on the list. Perfectly cooked beef patties. No frozen stuff here, just freshly made burgers with nothing but beef! I had the spicy burger and added an extra pattie. Maybe that was a mistake as when it arrived it was enormous! I did finish it in the end but needed a few breaks!! The cheese was just as good, plentiful, strong mature flavour and crispy bacon too. It really was a feast! The fries were great too, skin on pommels frites of the highest quality. They didn't look that appealing but they were awesome! Can't recommend this place highly enough. The staff were very friendly and the drinks were very reasonably priced. I spent about â¬15 on my meal and about â¬9 per caraf of red wine. Great value, great food!

Our 3rd visit to this lovely venue. It is our guilty pleasure when we want something quick and delicious! We have also visited it's sister restaurant in Le Touquet where the food is equally good. Quite simply the best burgers ever!

We ate from the 19 euro menu. Total bill with wine and aperitif was 56 euro. All of the food was superb with friendly attentive service. Lovely view out to sea and the whole restaurant was immaculately clean.Will definitely return when in the area.

We stumbled across this restaurant while looking for some food as the restaurant we were planning to go to only opened at 19:00. Here one could eat earlier and we got a warm welcome (honest, not artificial welcome). We selected typical starters and mains and we were pleasantly surprised as to the value for money. Especially the Marmite menu was very good. As starter a fish soup and as main a seafood marmite. Full of mussels and fish in a light creamy sauce. Hmmm. Would eat it any day.Highly recommended
