We had an excellent time as we were driving through Amarillo and had an amazing dinner here! Fun cocktails, really excellent tasting, and superb cuisine topped by friendly and professional service!Must go! We'd eat there weekly if we lived in Amarillo!

Stopped in for lunch. Very nice little restaurant. Great atmosphere as well. Had the hangover burger and the club sandwich. Excellent food and the seasoning on the fries is awesome. Will definitely return. Great for lunch, drinks after work or to sit and watch a game.

Seen all these cars around lunch time, decided to go for it. There is plenty of seats, got seated immediately. Place is like a bee hive, those servers can get the job done. Our waitress was absolutely one of the best I have ever encountered and I have dined on many 5 stars.She suggested some great choices, we ordered, here comes the salad. I am not talking side, I am thinking whole meal.Our entrees came out in about 15 minutes.I ate maybe half of the chili cheese fries and said finished. Took my awesome avocado bacon cheese burger home. It was delicious.Everyone of our meals was as good as we ever have had.My birthday Friday, guess what, heading back to Bubbas. You must try it for the meal of a lifetime.

I ordered my birthday dinner for tonight. I ordered the Fried Catfish. It melted in my mouth. You don't need to add any seasoning. I tried with the tarter sauce and by itself. On a positive note (and the ONLY positive), the staff was very friendly. Other than that, it was a VERY long wait for very mediocre food. They arenât kidding when they say if you want âfastâfood, go somewhere else. I know the place has been around d for decades and you can expect things to be old, but not dirty. The tables were filthy and sticky. When we finally got our food after 45 minutes, the fries were soggy and greasy, burgers just ok, the chili watery and actually kind of gross. I really wanted it to be a special family meal on Route 66 but instead it was a disappointment.

Never expected to have such a delicious meal while working in Amarillo. Had the shrimp scampi with squid pasta -the sauce was killer! Exceptional service in a super cool space. Be sure to check this place out!

I love the atmosphere at Hoffbrau. They have some of the COOLEST vehicle license plates I have ever seen. If you are not in the mood for a steak (which are excellent at Hoffbrau) and you are really hungry, get their THE COWTOWN CHICKEN FRIED STEAK w/ pepper jack cheese relleno, guacamole, pico de gallo & peppered cream gravy. This is a must see stop in Amarillo. It's a great, fun experience. Between our waitress, Callie, and myself, we got my husband to eat some "mountain oysters." Something he swore he would never do. He was surprised that they weren't all that bad. The produce is super fresh. Biggest disappointment were our steaks. They were cut very thin and way over salted. Also not the tenderest steaks I've eaten. You will definitely need a steak knife. My service dog, Norton, thoroughly enjoyed the pieces he was given. Other than the steaks, it was a great experience!

This place earns it place as one of the best burgers in Texas. Worth the wait! We had two old fashioned with mustard, one with cheese & tomato, the other no tomato, both with raw onion. The half pound patties were crumbly & juicy deliciousness on a nicely toasted bun. We also shared an order of the excellent fresh cut fries, enough for two or three. Next time in Amarillo merited a return visit.
