I visited both the McHenry and Algonquin sites. Same menu. And the food tasted pretty much the same. Instead of a burger however I substituted a grilled chicken breast in the Ale house combo (BBQ sauce, bacon, onion strings, LTOP). I could taste the chicken and the BBQ sauce. Fries were lukewarm. My friendâs burger was small for $10.99 but cooked the way he likes. Saving grace was The chocolate chip skillet cookieâ-a delicious dessert for two. Staff is friendly, can be noisy at the bar if thereâs a game on.

i love beef o'bradys buffalo chicken wings, but that franchise are only located in florida and georgia. so while i am back in illinois, i have been visiting bww, and i couldn't be HAPPIER!! bww wings are big and the sauces are EXCEPTIONAL. i usually eat the HOT buffalo wing sauce, but now the THAI CURRY is my favorite. the thai curry sauce is pretty HOT and lip-smacking GOOD. the service at bww is OK.(cannot understand why the locations i visit in mchenry and algonquin have mostly male waiters. i actually like the mchenry location b cos of its size..

Buddyz has changed hands in Algonquin. Food was excellent for many years. Pizza is OK. Not quite as good as the original owners. Maybe it has changed in the last month or so. Try again !

We stopped at this Chili's for lunch, as we heard that there were some burger specials. However, when we saw the menu and the boss burger, we decided to try that burger which is smoked brisket, tender rib meat, jalapeno-cheddar smoked sausage, bacon & cheddar with lettuce, tomato, house BBQ & house-made ranch. This is a really big burger, so when we ordered we decided to share it. When the burger arrived, the burger was done exactly as requested - medium rare. But more importantly, there was more than enough for both of us for lunch, that we couldn't find room for dessert, let alone any French fries. The service was very good, We were seated immediately. The price for the quantity and type of burger was quite reasonable.

Brewery and wine tasting
Gourmet place. Wine and food is quite pricey, but good.Atmosphere is nice, but very cold in the winter - door opens and the whole room cools off - entrance not designed well. Like everything here, good service. If price was no option, it would be 5 stars.

This place has become our â go toâ place in this area. Strawberry mules and apricot jungle juice are our favorite drinks. Always get the poutine appetizer. The barbecue pork nachos are a meal in itself. We enjoy sitting at the bar. Itâs quick n the service is excellent. For dessert, if you like carrot cake, definitely get the cake in a jar. We were so full we got it to go. Cool concept in a big mason jar. We will be returning soon.

The best salmon I have ever had. The cheese breadsticks with garlic butter are pretty awesome as well. Really nice relaxed atmosphere.

American fare that's at times familiar & other times adventurous in a laid-back modern setting.
We started with the Firecracker Cauliflower as an appetizer. It was panko breaded fried cauliflower tossed in chili aioli. It was touted as a veggie choice. However in ours in addition to the cauliflower, there were 2 pieces of calimari and also 2 fried mushrooms. All in all, it was a delicious dish. However if we were vegetarian and found calimari mixed in, we would have been upset. It makes me wonder if they fry the calimari in the same fryer as the cauliflower. For my entree I had the CHICKEN ASIAN CHOP CHOP. The description of it on the menu says "sesame-glaze, snow peas, roasted peanuts, red bell peppers, jicama, wontons, peanut-ginger dressing". There was a lot of cabbage and also red cabbage in this salad. I'm not supposed to eat cabbage so I was not able to eat very much of my entree. My wife ate some of it. It tasted good, I was just surprised at the large amount of cabbage since it was not mentioned in the menu.Thankfully I had also ordered some french onion soup. It made up for not being able to eat very much of my salad. It was delicious, with a rich onion flavor, with some bread on top and baked cheese. My wife had the spicy chicken and avocado eggrolls. She said they were very tasty, and they were served with salsa and sour cream. For dessert we shared the SALTED CARAMEL GOOEY BUTTER CAKE. It was described on the menu as "St. Louisâ signature dessert, Houlihanâs style â finished with Ghirardelli salted caramel sauce, powdered sugar and vanilla ice cream $5.95". It tasted absolutely delicious. We had to wait about 15 minutes for a table but that was to be expected on a Saturday night. The service was good.
