Driving visiting friends around the islands on a beastly hot day and air conditioning in the car was acting up, so looking for respite from the heat. Had a recommendation for lunch at the Alburgh Golf Course. Loved the location and view. Nice breeze on the side porch disappeared when we walked around to the dining area facing the lake. Went inside and learned that they don't have air conditioning (probably would only have to use it a few days a year). Got seated near a ceiling fan and did enjoy a draft beer and some ice tea. Food was pretty good. The Island Bird was excellent. A tender chicken breast had been cooked in teriyaki sauce and then layered with cheese, bacon and a grilled slice of pineapple. The side of red potato salad with a dollop of pesto sauce was terrific. Others tried the Vermonter made with sliced turkey; a well cooked burger and the Links Salad which was just ok. I must say our experience was overshadowed by the heat of the day and our earlier problems in the car, no fault of the restaurant. On any other given day, this looked like a great place to have lunch or just enjoy the deck overlooking the lake with a nice drink.

Awesome vt tiki location being run by idiots, bet you'll agree they have no clue. Don't even open your beers for you. Kitchen closed early cause cook was tired on a Sat night. Service from younger people is fair but adult bartender must have been a accountant in past life because he is the worst I've ever met tending bar. Go for the atmosphere and not the service and you might make it thru the night if you byob. I tried it several times and same show every time. Small town bar could be

I have been here twice and I would recommend it. They have live music on the patio in the summer. You can also walk off the street for the music if you just want drinks - sit under the big white tent. The mixed drinks are very good, but also pricey so donât order more than 2. I love their Brussels Sprouts small bites as an app.

Good beers and typical pub food. Had local beef burgers. Flatbreads etc A little too much dressing on the salad, should ask for it on the side. Very friendly and efficient waitress.,

Our smokehouse will prepare and serve locally raised meats and produce, and we will incorporate our Fitzgerald family maple products into our menu. Having a hometown, family feel is important to us, because we are family-owned and operated. Our brewery wi
Nice atmosphere and good selection of beers. Liked the red ale. Waitstaff were very pleasant but disorganized and slow. One young lady seemed to be in training, but mostly spent time talking with friends at another table. Took forever to get our order and there were only two other tables to serve.
