Nice dinner pre-theater, casual atmosphere and good wine list. Food was excellent, even for a small bite. Would frequent again.

We went to The '6 House Pub for dinner before a show at the Williamstown Theater Festival. The restaurant is large and spacious with a beautiful bar and cocktail menu. The ambiance is self-consciously antiqued - like a 1980s vision of "country eclectic." The menu is large and diverse. Our table had fried pickles and calamari for appetizers and a crab cake sandwich, a salmon sandwich, and mussels puttanesca for dinner entrees. My dish was the mussels puttanesca and two of us at the table ordered it. The biggest disappointment was with the uneven execution of the two dishes. One dish had sauce that was nicely plated. My pasta, on the other hand, was swimming in bonus cooking water.

My wife and I tried out the Trail House by ourselves before bringing a large group of friends. Her grilled salmon was all right, my beef medallions not as tender as they should have been, green beans might have been cooked a little longer (they were just shy of al dente). Our pecan pie for dessert was excellent, though. On the second occasion, with our friends, we all had a variety of dishes, and no one was disappointed (though I would say that the shepherd's pie could have more meat and less corn and liquid). Desserts again were fabulous. Two of my friends had craft beers and enjoyed them. Service was superb on both occasions. We'll be back!

I visited this restaurant on a rainy Monday evening with my grandmother. The music was very good and quiet enough for chitchat. I had the penne Alfredo with shrimp, and it was very good, and then I had the lemon raspberry cheesecake, and it was very good. My companion said they should have placemats on the tables. Aside from that, the service was very good, and it was overall a very good experience.

I visited this restaurant for a Patrick Gray Jr show in April. Patrick Gray and his friend played a lot of our favorites, including âCome Togetherâ and âWagon Wheelâ. I had the fried pickles, and it was very good, and then I had the baked stuffed chicken, and it was also very good, and then I had the strawberry rhubarb pie, and it was also really good. The service and live music were both very good, and it was overall a great experience.

We ate dinner on our first night and returned the next day for happy hour. The food was tasty and there was a good variety. The staff were friendly, responsive and willing to offer suggestions and recommendations. This is a place we would be pleased to return.
Cycling on the rail trail and we stopped for lunch. Food was good, my chicken sandwich and my wife had the quesadilla, both were good. It was busy and a bit slow, but would eat there again. Location is great as it borders the bike trail.
