The Highwayman Neighbourhood Pub is one of the only real Pubs left. "Were a Pint is still a Pint" and "Where Friends Meet". Great Food, Great Prices, Great Service. Enjoy all this in a comfortable setting. Before going home, stop at the Highwayman Liquor
Me and my group of 20 or so went bowling at the bowling alley next door for my birthday. We decided to come over to the pub for dinner. One of my friends had her 21 year old daughter with her who had consumed ONE alcoholic beverage previous to arriving at the pub, and wasnt intoxicated whatsoever, was quietly sitting in her seat, we decided to go up to the bar to get some tequila shots for my birthday. The person behind the bar immediately refused to serve her alcohol because her face was "red". This is absolutely absurd. He didnt even confront our server to maybe say hey how has this girl been acting? or is this table ok to drink more or anything. He just decided to refuse her a drink. We all found this extremely odd seeing as she hadnt done anything in the pub to give someone the thought that she was too drunk to have a drink, she wasnt even drunk. She was made to leave the bar at this point. We returned to our table and then her mother and another friend asked the waitress where their drinks were since they had been waiting, they were then told they were added to the list of people who weren't going to be served alcohol.. These two ladies had come straight from work to celebrate my birthday and had had NO alcohol.. at this point our table paid our bill and left. Extremely disappointing and confusing. Will not be back.Jade. So sorry for your experience. A card was given to someone at your table. It has my number on it, and I would really appreciate a phone call. Thank you. Diane

OJ's used to be really good - a regular place that we would go to on a weekend or weeknight for dinner. Our last 3 visits have left a sour taste in our mouth. The food lack luster, the service not much better and just not worth the price you pay. The good point is they let you pick from two sides which is great to try something different.

Moxie's Grill & Bar, a casual Abbotsford restaurant on Simon Ave. Within walking distance of the Sandman Hotel, with a full menu, patio and lounge. Open late.
Our daughterâs volleyball team was staying at the Sandman, same parking lot, and we didnât know when our tournament day would be over so we waited till the last minute to make dinner reservations for 20-24. One parent called when we were done the final match of the day and Moxies asked for an hour allow our team and parents to sit together - perfect amount of time to check in shower up and get to dinner. While we couldnât all sit together we all had an area to ourselves and a couple of servers. Our table was served by Brodie. Service to the table time was good, drinks were going to be delayed due to a busy bar so Brodie brought us water and acknowledged the timeline till bar drinks arrived. Time to order dinner was fine and time till food arrived was perfect.I went with the salmon Cobb salad, shocker I ordered a Cobb salad lol, it was a great choice. The salmon was cooked medium-medium rare and melted in my mouth, the egg was shy of hard boiled so slightly runny and dang tasty. Overall the dish presented well and tasted amazing. If I was to question the plate it would be on the inclusion of croutons in the salad, yes an added crunch but the fresh iceberg salad and perfectly cooked bacon the additional crunch wasnât needed and I didnât see any added value to the taste of the croutons.Overall exceptional visit and they served island beer - Driftwoodâs Fat Tug an epic awesome IPA. Hi there!I am so glad to hear that the parents and the team had a wonderful experience while dining with us in May this year! the Driftwood Fat Tug IPA is definitely one of my favourite beers so I am glad to hear you enjoyed that!If you ever need to make a reservation when you are out this way again please don't hesitate to contact me directly as [email protected] you,KaylaGeneral ManagerMoxie's Grill & Bar Abbotsford

Went last night (Friday night)We made reservations - 2 friends catching up. They put us at a very small table. There just wasnât enough room and neither of us would be considered large individuals. Felt cramped. Especially when our meal came we had to shuffle stuff to make room for our plates. Prime rib was delicious. Baked potato awesome. Veggies were lack lustre... they were soggy and over cooked. Not appetizing. Bellini was great but over priced. My biggest complaint is that in order to get drink specials you have to sit at the bar. So sitting at a table you are not eligible for the specials. Did not think that was right. The waitress said itâs the franchises choice so out of their control. Our server was polite, friendly and attentive. Much better than my experiences in the past where they have been a little snobby and rude. Over all a decent night.

This is our go to restaurant when my wife and I want a nice night out. The food is good, the staff go out of their way to make the evening special, and the atmosphere is great whether in the lounge or restaurant areas. The outside patio is just an extra!

The pub food is above average and the drinks menu is good. Good choice of beers. Service is slow but cheerful. The patio shares a wall and door with the inside and cigarette smoke is everywhere. I didn't enjoy myself but the smokers loved it.

North American French Cuisine Taking the best of Montréal & New Orléans flavours, and adding a touch of home-town style, Brodeur's Bistro has something for everyone.
I've been to Brodeurs 4 times now, and a couple times I thought it excellent, but tonight was quite a disappointment. It was a busy dinner hour and perhaps the kitchen was stretched. I had ordered the beef dip once before and thought it was the best I'd ever had. Tonight, it was full of onions with very little beef and very different from the last one I had. It was featured as a special and maybe they were running out of beef brisket. If so, why not just pull it off the menu and say it is sold out.I made the mistake of ordering a Caesar Salad side. Who puts onions in a Caesar Salad, let alone 20-30 slices in a small side salad - disgusting. My partner had a buttermilk chicken sandwich which was fine, but got very little fries with her side and the gravy was cold. We might just look to different restaurant options going forward.
