Wonderful recommendation from the hotel. Friendly staff and stunning food. This place always seems busy as what they do is so good! Wish pizzas back in the UK were as good!

Local very cute, situated on the long lake of Lecco. Kind staff, very tasty sandwiches: salmon burgher and Fassona (italian meat) burger are TOP! DOlomiti beer approved! Great place for a lunch or dinner with friends or couple, or kids! ...Changing table for baby available in the toilet. Dogs welcome.

Good spot to look over the lake. We were given complimentary pizza with the thinnest base I have ever had - it was gorgeous. Wide range of craft ales and good wine. Service is fast - pay at your table if sat outside,

We were staying at a nearby B&B (La Coccinella) after visiting Moto Guzzi, and asked the proprietor for a restaurant recommendation. He asked our budget, and recommended Al Ghezz. Two course meal including drinks for only 10 Euros? It was a steal. The pasta was great, I'd go back....

We came across The Shamrock Pub after walking around Lecco. For being non-Irish they certainly had the Irish pub theme nailled. Being Irish I'm always amazed at the so called themed Irish pubs but this one really is true to character. Drinks are Irish brands (ok you don;t go abroad to find what is at home) but it is great to see a local doing well from taking a brand and being true. Marco was a great host and couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome. Sadly our trip was brief but it is on our list to return and stay long to enjoy all that is on offer. Have a great 2015 St Patrick's Day - sásta lá ú patrick mo chairde!
