Ordered a takeaway through the just eat app. Initial estimated time for delivery was around 70 minutes which was bad enough. Only to be told it would be another 20 minutes late again. We watched an entire game of football before it arrived. When it arrived there was a totally half assed apology for the wait from the driver, no suggestion for some form of compensation for the mighty wait. When we finally got to tuck in, the food was mediocre at best. Curry was bland, watery, and lukewarm at best. Certainly not going to order from here ever again and certainly wouldn’t suggest anyone else bother either.

amity tandoori is the one of the Indian restaurant in Redruth,Cornwall.
Visited this restaurant as it was near where we were staying and not many restaurants to choose from in Redruth. The restaurant was very busy and the staff were very helpful and pleasant. It has no licence but you can BYO which is great as there is a handy off licence 5 mins down the road. Food was very good and pleasant atmosphere.

After the great reviews and struggling to find a decent curry house anywhere in Cornwall we decided to give this place a go tonight. Service was good and we waited around 25mins to get the meal. Unfortunately it was distinctly average and we were very disappointed has had high hopes. Balti was not like any other we’ve had, no rich spiced sauce but a bland standard curry. We prefer authentic home style curries and we fear we were spoilt at our last local Indian as we cannot get anything remotely as tasty in Cornwall which is such as shame. One positive is the naan was nice and our daughter loved the chicken tikka starter which she said was very tasty and good value for money. Sadly we don’t think we will return.
