The food was really nice, we bought a main, a couple of small dishes and a couple of sides and we were really full up. The atmosphere is nice, even though the restaurant could do with a lick of paint in places. Unfortunately, we were expecting to have a Meerkat 2 for 1 deal (mentioned when booking and told no problem) which according to Meerkat includes 2 for 1 on starters, mains and deserts. On the day, they claimed that only their own 2 for 1 deal applies - only allowing 1 starter and 1 main, and items like Saag Aloo (all the £4 stuff) is neither classed as a starter or a main so they took off the price of 1 main course and that was it. You won't be disappointed with the food but don't go expecting to get a decent deal with Meerkat 2 for 1.Hiya.... i can only apologies re meerkat offer due to due to main head waiters being away on holiday so part timers are not always uptodate. However your welcome to back in and ask for myself and I am sure I wonât disappoint you.Regards Adam

It's a small place but has a big heart! The guys running it are friendly and helpful and the food, is just divine. Every time I have visited I have left looking forward to returning again.I recommend booking due to the small size but it is definately a place I recommend if you like quality spicy food!Thank you for such a beautiful review. It was our 50th Wedding Anniversary and we wanted something different so we Chose our favourite close to home Indian restaurant and they did not let us down. Our 2 sons paid for everything for our guests so 30 of us had the most amazing food, service, and happy staff. The food was whatever anyone wanted and not a set choice we had seven children who chose their own menu they all loved it. Tikka starters tikka masala or lamb and chicken both dishes we superbe meat was so tender again repeating myself it was marvellous.We Would Like To Say A Huge Thank You To All the Staff Chefs Waiters and a Lovely Thank You To The Management For Allowing Us The Use Of Your Venue.A fantastic time was had by all. Xxxx

it was new years day and we expected a bit of a wait for delivery and we're told it would be 1h20mins. After an hour and a half we phoned to check it and they said it was all ready they were just waiting for the delivery driver to come back, 10 minutes later I got a call from them saying they were out of 2 of the sides we had ordered so would we like something else and we went for the veg samosas. After over 2 hours the food finally arrived, they had included a free chicken rice dish for the birthday boy which I thought was nice of them.I ordered the king prawn madras, the sauce was nice but the prawns were definitely not king prawns (they were so small!) and extremely overcooked, too rubbery to enjoy. The samosas were also very dry.Its a shame to have waited so long for what was mediocre at best, especially as a birthday dinner!

Had a takeaway last night which arrived spot on time. Food was great as usual, a variety of dishes with first timers eating who were also very impressed with the quality.Just one suggestion, please throw in free popadoms. This is the only Indian I have ever come across that doesnât do this which is a tad disappointing. However not enough to knock the rating down as we do love having this on our doorstep.

Living locally we often frequent this restaurant the food is to die for we love Indian food and this is the best restaurant .we visited last weekend it was busy and they didnt have many staff which meant long waits to get a waiter the few waiters there also have to do the take away. We love the restaurant but not the service they need more staff especially at a weekend

We made a reservation online about a week before, on the day we had some people cancel so we called the restaurant to let them know and also to move the time of the booking and they were extremely accommodating for us. The food was delicious, we had a wide range of dishes from lamb korma (super tender lamb) and chicken tikka masala, aubergine, okra, tandoori meat grill, all the food was superb! It was pretty busy which made a nice buzzy atmosphere, we will definitely be back.

Arrived one Thursday evening without booking but were shown to a table in the Conservatory. Food and service excellent as always. Thank you guys. Iâd recommend this restaurant without hesitation.

We visited The Marco Polo for the first time although our friends that we went with have been there quite a few times as they love it so much. First thing i noticed was the lovely air conditioning that is so lacking in many restaurants. It was so nice to eat dinner in just the right tempreature. The waiters cannot do enough for you they are a credit to their management. The table was laid out nicely and the right size for all the food we had ! The restaurant is very popular and gets very busy so best to pre book a table. We had so much to eat but still managed to eat dessert and a lovely irish coffee. It was a brilliant meal and we look forward to returning.
