Award winning Indian cuisine restaurant located in the heart of the town. We sell have a wide range of traditional and signature dishes that is made to order fresh from the chefs pan.
Ordered a takeaway for two. Sheek Kebab, Garlic chicken Karahi, Chicken Tikka Naga, 2 portions of plain rice a chapati and a portion of Sag Paneer. We only live a 5 minute drive away. We take delivery after paying over £30. The order was luke warm at the best best, but was bordering on cold???? The Kebab was tasty, although cold. On to the mains, cold, chicken on both meals was dry and tough???? sauce on the Karahi, what sauce?? Absolutely disgusting, I did ring the restaurant to complain, disinterested would be an understatement.

The Ashiana Indian Restaurant at North Muskham near Newark is an award-winning Indian and Bangladeshi restaurant. Set in contemporary surroundings with plenty of parking, the head chef and his team pride themselves on serving the highest quality meals mad
We were staying locally and this restaurant was suggested to us to try, but by people who had only seen it in passing. We decided to visit after seeing their menu, even though we had been aware of the prices which we thought were quite high-end for the area. The food was of good quality and was very tasty, and plentiful. The pickle tray was one of the best weâve had. The menu was more varied than we have normally seen, so donât go with the expectation of having your âusualâ meal, although Iâm sure they would accommodate your request. The staff were helpful and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed all our meal and would certainly return, although we wouldnât go on a regular basis due to the prices; it would have to be a âspecial occasionâ. I donât know how busy this restaurant gets on Friday or Saturday nights as our visit was on a Thursday, but I do think, although we did thoroughly enjoy our meals, that it would possibly have more return visits if the prices were a little lower (say 10-15% on the main courses) .... but they may feel differently, as is their absolute right. The quality is certainly unquestionable.Dear Sue,It was a delight to serve you at the Ashiana. We are a multiple award-winning Indian and Bangladeshi restaurant, serving only the highest quality and freshest ingredients, from a varied traditional and personalised menu. A locals favourite and for a reason. Youâre guaranteed to enjoy a tasty curry - theyâre experts and the staff are very helpful with any additional support customers may require. I recommend the Dahl soup and chicken tikka garlic. Enjoy!

Once again we enjoyed great meals, so unfortunate we live so far away. We had diiferent meals, duck, chicken tikka masala & Everest Inn Karachi mix, all very good. Also thought the Everest Inn bitter was excellent. Good service in a smart restaurant at very fair prices.

The Mughal Rasoi has been our local Indian Restaurant of choice for over two decades. A very popular family restaurant with an intimate atmosphere, it has never failed to deliver on exceptionally high standards of cuisine and standards. The staff are friendly and helpful and are able to steer you through the extensive menu to help you create an exceptional meal. They also do takeaway which is reasonably priced.
