Spacious, very well appointed and comfortable restaurant with attentive friendly and helpful staff. Comprehensive menu of well executed moderately priced dishes. All told, a most excellent place of its kind

I have just dined with my two children 10 and 7 who arent very adventurous with food, but the owner went above and beyond and made us feel as thou we were family, she was attentive and was brilliant with my children which made dining so much easier as we all know kids get bored easily and act up, not here, not tonight as the atmosphere was 100%, the food was amazing 100% and the service was outstanding, will definitely be going back, thanks for having us!!!

Considering I only live around from the corner, I've never been here before. The Wednesday night meal deal is fantastic value. The food is great, all served hot and on hot plates. Staff are friendly and their service is great. Been to other restaurants locally but this place is class.Well worth a visit, the food is great, you won't be disappointed. I will be visiting again in the near future

We have been coming here over 10 years but over the last two years the service has been awful. We always ring our order through and ask what time it will be ready, and we pay when we pick it up.Reading other reviews about the waiting time for deliveries is bad but to pick it up is even worse and I have waited over an hour in the shop over the time it was supposed to be ready. Not once has it been ready when they have said it will be.I have many times been stood up in the waiting area as it was packed full of customers waiting to pick up their food orders. These were not even the ones being delivered.Last night I turned up at the time stated and waited around five minutes while the guy was taking the orders over the phone and getting the card details for payment. The room was once again full with customers waiting for their orders. I was standing for around 10 minutes before I was asked what my name was, my order was repeated to me and the money taken. The bill was sitting by the till and when I gave my name, and had paid the guy on the desk put it to the back of him where all the other orders waiting to be cooked were. This also happened exactly to a lady who came in after me. Two orders were shouted out and two delivery drivers got out of their chairs to take the orders for delivery - this was while other customers had to stand up as there were no chairs for them to sit in.I was told on one of my previously long waits, by another man that they wait until you come into the takeaway and pay before they cook your order, I didn't know if that was true. Believe me it is - they get the orders for delivery and who have paid by card out first, and string the customers along who pick up their orders with lies about how long they will be ready. You have lost a couple of good customers through your selfish lies.

Indian/Bangladeshi Restaurant
Booked in on the 26th Feb after I heard theyâre re-opening again as they were closed due to refurbishment. This was my second time visiting Zeera and they still havenât disappointed. The restaurant was packed on the first day of re-opening and I seen big boxes of takeaways being served to some of their customers. Goes to show, everyone loves it here and the food was missed. Definitely will be back!

Met friend here, they had been before. Pleasant environment and atmosphere. We had a drink at the bar whilst we waited for our friends. They had all ready been seated at our reserved table however poor communication meant our friend had to come to find us at the bar. The food was good , very friendly service and even advised us against over ordering. Try the family sized garlic naan bread. Its served on a large stand, fun, dramatic and most importantly delicious. We had a selection of vegi, meat, mild and spicy..we were all pleased. Bill came promptly. We were ready to pay when 3 staff approached to ask if we had paid for our drinks at bar. We said no you said to add to tab. Long discussion between the 3 staff and our table as the bill appeared to include all drinks we had recieved..eventually they apologised and agreed we had paid for everything...waiter shared they had lots of new staff..shame poor communication at start and end of evening as food and table service would have scored them a 5* review

This was our first visit to our local Indian. Pretty impressive menu with lots of variety and really interesting food. My partner had king prawn biryani and I had chicken dish with coconut and mango was divine. Service was very slow perhaps it was just a blip being a Saturday night, however on plus side food is good and you can bring your own wine. Will be back again.

First time at the Raj. They were short staffed but this was no problem. Service was friendly and fast. Good chutney tray with papadums. Nice starter selection. All had different mains. Great taste and decent spice. Would recommend.

Went about 6pm last night for a birthday meal ,hadn't booked as it was so early but I think we were lucky to get a table as it's very popular! Friendly staff and lots of them. Modern decor, very smart. Food arrived at just the right intervals and was excellent. I like a sweetish, creamy curry but I also like a decent amount of spice. I asked if they could make my duck meal a little hotter ( when I ordered it) and it came perfectly spiced. House white wine very acceptable and a reasonable price.Definitely recommend and will go again.

We are a couple taking a short break in the area and fancied a nice "Ruby Murray", so after a number of recommendations inc Tripadvisor finished up at this restaurant. Cannot fault the experience, service levels were good with attentive staff and owner. As with most Indian restaurants it depends on chef as to how spicy and intense the flavours are but his food was certainly within parameters and for taste his Vindaloo was probably one of the best I have eaten, possibly a little more heat for my palate.Would certainly go again.
