On a mission trying every curry house around these parts and mostly disappointed but I think I have found the only true curry palace yesterday evening. To be honest I booked the Jalori a few doors down but when we arrived it was completely empty so backtracked to Sands Brasserie (formerly Woburn Fort) and so glad we did. Greeted by a big smile from Musa and sumptuous smells wafting around the cosy restaurant. Clientele raving about the food and service and rightly so. Nothing was too much trouble, very flavoursome and very well spiced food. They say on their website 'Once you step through the doors of Sands Brasserie, you will be welcomed by our friendly staff. We will spoil you for choice with our extensive menu' and they certainly do. Highly recommend the chicken methi - it was divine! Strongly suggest book as its bijou and once word gets around you won't get a table for weeks!

Calcutta Brasserie is a spacious, multi-award winning Indian restaurant in a beautiful 17th century chapel
Last night was the first time I visited the Calcutta Brasserie. The whole experience was wonderful from the second you walk into the stunning dining area, with amazingly high ceilings. The staff were all very friendly and had a great knowledge of all the meals and what style of food they were. The food was the best indian style food I have ever had. It is very reasonably priced as well, especially considering the quality of food. If you haven't been, you really must. Once you have been, you will never go anywhere else! I will definitely be going back soon. 10/10Thank you so much for leaving us such a lovely review. I am absolutely delighted you had the best Indian meal you have ever had at our restaurant and enjoyed the ambiance and service in our beautiful converted chapel. Iâve shared your comments with our staff who are very proud that we have impressed you so much and I hope you will be back soon so you can try something else from our wide menu selections. We would love to give you a personal recommendation if you let us know what you like. Thanks again.

The Milton Keynes area has lots of great Indian restaurants but Himalaya Tandoori has (in my opinion) some of the best chefs. Their Dhansak dishes are brilliant. I have eaten here with family and friends and also with large groups of work colleagues. The food is great. The pricing is very reasonable. The staff are helpful and courteous. Highly recommended for eat-in or takeout.

Welcome to Kolkata, we are located in the heart of Newport Pagnell. We have been serving the local community for many years. We pride ourselves on using some of the freshest and the best ingredients on offer to cook and serve high quality traditional Indi
We visited the restaurant based on Trip Advisor comments. It was situated beside a large Indian restaurant and we were unsure if it was just a take away as you walk straight into a shop. We were greeted with the remark that no alcohol was served which did not make much difference to us. It was a Friday night and we were the only people there. The restaurant could only seat 16 people, was tired and unkept with mismatched pictures. We ordered Diet Coke which must have come from a large bottle as it was flat. We ordered two Balti chicken curries, Bombay Aloo, rice, Naan. It was the first time I have had a complete half cooked tomato in mine, but it tasted okay. Nothing spectacular as we were expecting just pretty average. People were coming in for take away and as the place was small you could hear the conversations clearly. When I went to the single ladies toilet there was a bottle of washing up liquid for soap. Staff were pleasant and we really don't mind quirky places, but this just felt as though they were not prepared to spend money on the restaurant side probably concentrating more on the take-away business. So would not go again.Thank you for recently dining with us and you have commented about our food, service and etc. However, the serving staff member confirm, that you had no issues with our food or service. Now, you have posted comments about us not very favourably. Please kindly remove the post because itâs damaging to our trade.

We visited Dinajpur in Fenny Stratford recently and the quality of the food was exceptional, one of the best Indian restaurants I have been to in years. We chose a good selection of dishes including the vindaloo which was both spicy and hot, although do like it a bit hotter. Will definitely be visiting again very soon.

We are a modern Indian Restaurant with a rich history in contemporary Indian Cuisine. Wherever we have opened up we have taken the town/ City by storm and we intend to do the same with The Don Indian Restaurant in MK. Like our name we bring with it bravad
We chose the restaurant to host a reunion because it neighbours offices in which our former employer was based until its closure in early 2018, and because itâs close to the main railway/bus station, not for culinary etc reasons, curry and beer being the popular choice of venue and grub.Imagine our surprise then when the meal was by common consent the best quality Indian cuisine all 4 of us had sampled in a long time, while the service was the epitome of attentiveness and good natured humour befitting our troupe of middle aged men. Interestingly, all the other patrons that (Thursday) night appeared to be groups of either colleagues or some form of club. Of the dishes, the Nemo tilapia main course and a hot chicken dish were particularly memorable. Heartily recommended for all forms of boys nights out. Probably not one for romantic or family meals, even if the ambience is modern, tranquil and attractive, a far cry from the average high street tandoori, and the service very professional and engaging.

We tried this place a few months ago because a booking we had made elsewhere had been cancelled and I decided to look up Indian restaurants near me on Tripadvisor. I am sometimes suspicious of fabulous reviews for Indian restaurants because you wonder whether some of the reviewers may be related to the owners :-)Anyway, I looked up the menu and could see they had some really interesting and unusual dishes including more fish than most of the other local Indian restaurants. So I called and made a booking and was greeted by a really friendly voice which made me feel really welcome. We then set the sat nav because we had never been to the area where the restaurant was before. When we arrived we were a little concerned. The road where the restaurant is looks a little run down. However, when we walked inside the smiles and the welcoming and friendly team made us feel much more confident and comfortable. This restaurant is very small inside so on a Saturday night when we go out it can get quite busy. Mind you, we've never failed to get in at 7pm. The team were very chatty and helpful and catered well for my better half's wheat intolerance. I have to say that the wine is also excellent value. We have a lovely Crianza Rioja for only £15. I have paid over £20 for similar wine in other restaurants. Please don't tell them :-)Every dish we have had at the Rose of India is beautifully cooked and not as oily as many other Indian restaurants. I've had the Tandoori Monkfish several times and it's always very generous, really tasty and cooked to perfection. So please don't be put off by the position of the restaurant. It's well worth stepping inside. You will be very well looked after and enjoy some of the best Indian food I have ever had in Milton Keynes.Since finding the Rose of India it's become our favourite Indian restaurant and we must have been there at least 7 or 8 times now. We've never had a bad meal. We took some friends there this week who are real Indian food lovers. They were full of praise for the quality of food and service. A very nice touch at the end of the meal is that all the ladies are presented with their own fresh red rose.Keep are the good work, you're brilliant!

Visited last night with Julie and about another 40 regular customers to the opening of the refurbished Ganges Lounge. The guys had laid in some great traditional food and good night was had by all. It was great to see all the staff so proud of this fantastic restaurant. And all the guest are considered as friends not customers. If youâve never been give it a try. Iâve been to probably every Indian in MK and this is the only one I ever return to. By far the best Indian restaurant in MK

Eastern Paradise has been open since 1992 and is well established as Milton Keynes number one Balti House in traditional home cooked Indian style cuisine. Our chef uses the finest and freshest blend of ingredient to produce authentic dishes of the highest
Thereâs a handy car park behind this restaurant - I visited today by mistake, intending to go to another place a few minutes walk away, but I went in anyway. The place looked popular for takeaways - the menu was not comprehensive, but enough - I chose the special garlic chilli chicken, with a tarka dhal. It wasnât a long wait - the food was like a mixed grill, with a very tasty sauce that wasnât too spicy. The dhal was excellent, 1 chapatti would have been enough. Best of all, hardly any oil on the plate afterwards. Thumbs up! Would like to see a little more variety though...
