Set in the heart of Glasgow, in the shadows of the Iconic Mitchell Library and within the vicinity of the Kings Theatre, SSE Hydro and SECC, the Pedlar and Spice is a relatively new edition in the popular Glasgow curry scene and has spawned from the well
We chose this as it was near our hotel with good reviews. We were not disappointed! We've had many an indian meal but it was nice to see some different curries on the menu with some punjab specialities. I wasn't sure what to try and the owner was happy to chat about the choices. My son had a rogan josh and i had punjabi chilli garlic. We had chef special rice and a keema nan. It was all absolutely delicious! And the service was excellent. This place is just off sauchihall street so take the time to veer off the main drag for just 1 minute and you won't be disappointed!

Highly recommended. make a booking to avoid disappointed. Was full when we left. Bigger restaurant than what you initially see. Servings are bigger than your normal Indian restaurant. They also have Persian cuisine for a difference. Great for children too. Have good variety for them. My 5yo loves the butter chicken for some reason, and also the lamb kebab. Also serve non alcoholic beer, which my pregnant wife enjoyed!

One thing you always get here is good, cheerful service with honest food and very good prices. The constant stream of people in and out of the restaurant as well as the takeaway area tells you all that you need to know. A good meal without breaking the bank.

Ala carte with best Indian buffet and take away with large area cover with delivery.we do have American, continental and curries.
4 adults and one child arrived for buffet early dinner, although the restaurant was quiet we did wait to be seated and then for drinks. Food included in the buffet selection wad Nice, however we again waited for plates to be cleared, in fact we piled them ourselves eventually... good value at £95 for us all including drinks but service not great

We live in Cheshire but visit friends in Lenzie several times a year. We always try to eat at Rasoi given past experiences there BUT it's busy. We were originally four on Saturday (3rd August) but another friend decided to join us at the last moment. The restaurant said "yes" to this additional booking so this meant 5 on a table really meant for four. When we arrived, we thought about moaning but, as we then saw the number of diners who subsequently came through the door that evening, we realised we were actually lucky to get in !An interesting and different menu in a very competitive established "curry" area. Good service and reasonably priced. Understandably, very popular with locals We will return (if we can get in) !
