Have previously enjoyed meals here.Disappointed on our recent visit.Had pre-booked a table. Obviously extremely busy. A large group of people celebrating a birthday . Usually ok. This group extremely noisy . Children screaming lots of swearing.Two men vaping on a table behind us.So noisy and unpleasant. The service slow. Would have been ok but you could not hear yourselves talk!Will not be returning soon.

All good as always. Helpful staff. Reasonoble prices . Busy so book if possible. Especially for a evening.Quality produce used. Doesn't leave you bloated and that stuffed feeling.

Myself and my girlfriend ate at the Maharaja for an Indian meal on Sunday night. We had a nice meal - I had Meat Samosa for starters, then Chicken Passander for mains, with pilau rice and a Cheese & Chilli Naan. Food was piping hot, and the Chicken Passander particularly was very flavoursome.My only nag about this restaurant that lets it down is the way staff appear in the restaurant. All 2-3 of the waiters on duty looked thoroughly miserable and like they did not want to be there. The waiter that took our order seemed thoroughly disinterested and there seemed to be a lack of passion for the job they were doing. So my only advice to this place would be to try and improve the customer service and try to smile!!Otherwise food was lovely :-)

Masala Bay is one of the better takeaways in this area. The food is always cooked well and very hot.I am on a mission to find a takeaway that marinades the meat in the correct sauces rather than a general one and then adds the chosen sauce at the end. Visited the Taj Mahal on Saturday night. Fantastic food and friendly efficient service. Night out made all the more affordable as the restaurant allows you to take your own drinks (there is even an off licence conveniently open 2 doors down if you donât want to carry too much with you)
