I visited this restaurant whilst on business at Carterton with my colleague. I had popedoms then a tandoori mixed grill with pilau rice the food was average and the guy serving wasn't the most pleasant of people would not recommend and will not return in the future food is bland and costs are high.

Me and the wife booked table for 2 at the spice lounge for 6.30. We were greeted by very friendly staff and orders taken . The drinks and popadoms arrived very quickly which is always a good touch. I had the chicken shaslick and the wife had the chicken masala both were excellent and the bhindi bhajis were out of this world. Very nice Indian restaurant in Lechlade. Food was very good, delicious flavours. Service was OK. Tikka Massala had quite a lot of sauce as compared to chicken pieces but everything was tasty. Recommend it. On that evening, the restaurant was being restocked and it was quite fun to see the driver making round trips from his van to the kitchen carrying huge bags of oignons and other stuff.
