Very reasonable price for a very accurately prepared light (or rather, less-than-three-courses) lunch. Three of us had one dish plus a bit of wine and water and one dessert. We spent 40 Euros in total, in a very nice setting if a bit off the main road through Bressanone. We tried a sampling of different kinds of Knoedel (dumplings), a trout salad and a pleasant meat stew. All were pleasant and well prepared.

Our Brixner Sudtiroler Gasthaus located under the arcades of the old town in Brixen is personally managed since 1896 by us. Enjoy South Tyrolean hospitality in a modern setting on the ground or in a traditional tavern-restaurant on the 1st floor. The orig
Our first night staying in Bressanone we stopped in this cozy restaurant to warm up and get a bite to eat. We were not that hungry so we ordered the Tyrolean Barley soup which was delicious and definitely warmed us up. This is a great spot for trying the local cuisine. The service is excellent and they have a great salad/ vegetable bar along with many local dishes.

We reserved a table for a torkelen night and the evening was a blast! Lovely beer, tasty wine, some kind of young wine, very nice! All food seemed to beproduced on the farm. The dishes were enormous and supertasty.the livemusic was lovely and funny tooHey, danke für die späten Komplimente!

I have been to Brunnerhof just for one night. It's just on the way out of the highway, there is a bar and a nice restaurant with a lot of choiche. We spent 80 euro for a double room with breakfast included and 30 for a complete dinner ( spaghetti, meat, salad, fries and a weiss). Parking is available for free. Television in room is included and everything is clean. Ask for a room not on the train side, so you can quietly sleep without hear the train noise. Wifi doesn't work so well. Overall a positive rating.

This is an easy place to go with a spectacular view of the Geisler group and Schlern when enjoying the good local food sitting in the beer garden in the backyard of the restaurant! You can either start your hike from Feldthurns or Klausen via the convent Säben. Each way takes you approximately 60 minutes to get there!

Nice and elegant restaurant, but in a dark location on the side outside of the freeway. Food is well prepared, very rich and at the end of good quality. They lack of service: we asked for two glasses of wine (a Sauvignon Blank and a Pinot Noir) and they did not show the bottle or at least say the name of the producers. The waiters do not talk and do not describe the dishes so you risk to receive a bad surprise: that is what happened when we ordered a desert that was supposed to be balls of ricotta filled with gianduia chocolate on a bed of vanilla cream: we expected a nice, cold desert after a rich menu to refresh our mouths and came out to be a warm desert not appealing at all that we did not eat. We said the waiter our disappointment and he answered just that the desert is what it is, without offering any apology or proposing a different desert. We asked information about another desert and he said nothing else but the name written in the menu. This is disappointing. Too bed because we enjoyed the first time here, but not this one, and we are very sorryâ¦..

Cozy but elegant environment. Most of the ingredients are home made (bread, speck, apples, cookies, jam, pickles...) and are used with respect and imagination. The result is surprising. We truly recommend.

A very nice mixture of restaurant combioning Austrian/Italian culture, good food quality but poor choices for Vegetarians & Vegans sadly besides that all was good. The service was curtious, food well prepared with very good taste.Though I don't drink Beer/Lager etc the choices are excellent & authentic as my friend had a few drinks there.

A visit to the Bistro is the ideal way to refresh yourself after a visit to the museum or if you are simply passing by. Located in the former Habsburg officersâ mess at the heart of the Franzensfeste complex, the Bistro serves regional and seasonal dishes
Very nice cafe in historic surroundings. The staff is friendly and you can sit in the courtyard. Another huge advantage the roofs are covered in light night rods as the the Franzenfeste used to be an arms and gun powder depot for hundreds of years⦠No need to be afraid of lighting .. always good news..
