Things to do in Tarrenz
It was a bit of a grey day, so we decided to drive up to Hoch Imst. We just wanted a quick snack for lunch, so decided to try out the Winkler restaurant. My wife settled for a piece of pastry (apfelstrudel) whilst I tried a ham-cheese-toast. The apfelstrudel was very good, not dry at all. My toast was good too, and came with a mixed salad. The salad was presented in a very nice way: an alu foil was shaped in the form of a swann. As a quick bit for lunch, we were not dissappointed. We paid 15 euro for the two items, including two drinks.

One of the best places to go to in Imst! Ruthie is a fantastic lady . Also her mother is special. We are regular guests in Wald Café since many years!!Good and very healty food, surved by a verry friendly woman with a warm and generous hart!! She is loved by everyone!

We ate in here the first evening we were in Imst. The food was absolutely wonderful, and the service was first class. The fact that they also spoke English and had an English menu just made everything so much easier. It wasn't the only time we ate there, due to the fine time we had the first time we were there.

We were waiting for the bus back to Imst so had time to pop in here to dry off and warm up with a deliciously creamy hot chocolate. The buses donât run very often so we had time for a beer too. The place was clean and friendly and the drinks hit the spot.
Had house salads which were really decent. Sitting outside with a beer glass after biking in Gurgltal is really enjoyable. Good views and good service. Kids playing at open grass / lawn.

The food is really good, the have an extra seasonal menu with great specials. The staff is friendly and the facilities a really nice. the different "stuben" offer a nice location for private celebrations (for different numbers of people).they have a nice lunch menu for a nice price - but it is very busy and the staff is a bit chaotic.i can highly recommend this place for lunch or for any casual occasion.

We went in a group of 10 and were given a table in the corner. It was a very cosy and typical Austria chalet feel. The host greeted us as old friends and spoke good English. Food was outstanding and every one of our group had an excellent meal without exception. Host kept the water topped up and even gave us complimentary snapps.
