Things to do in See
We stayed the night at Konstanzer Hutte having recently arrived in the area. The location is lovely, the evening meal was good, and the room was comfortable, but the hut manager was unhelpful to the point of unpleasant and seriously spoiled our stay. His general attitude of 'if anything goes wrong it's your fault' and general misanthropic nature spoiled what could have been a very nice night's stay. Talking to other visitors during and after our stay they had similar experiences of the hut manager, which was at least reassuring that it wasn't targeted specifically at us.Despite the nice location I would not recommend staying at this hut unless the management changes or you're unconcerned by unpleasant staff.

The Gebhard restaurant is a welcome variation to the usual Austrian restaurants. The service is excellent. The food is well prepared and served with care. Not the 'usual' food but well balanced tasteful dishes prepared with fresh materials. The menu is somewhat restricted with 2 appetizers and 2 soups and a couple of main dishes. There is more variation in the desserts. They are equally nice. They carry a nice selection of wines with great suggestions to match the food, also for wine by the glass. Cost is 70 to 75 euro per person for 3 courses with drinks. Reservations are needed as the have less capacity when the hotel is full.

Lovely location at the bottom of the North-Side. Austrian gemuetlich but the usual lunch time rush. Very friendly service. The kitchen serves the usual suspects, heavy food it will ground you if you don't watch yourself. Pick carefully and you will be happy, have the true Austrian specialties like Kaiserschmarren in a real restaurant. Still way better than lets say Two Elks in Vail. Table service, if the sun is out sit outside and soak in the scene.

Visiting Serfaus with our daughterâs family. They skied in, we hiked in. True Bavarian food and very good. It was worth the hike. The goulash soup was very good. A small green salad was big enough to feed two people. The restaurant was very busy with skiers, but the service was prompt and pleasant.

Lovely place, but sadly did not take credit cards. Enjoyed one delightful lunch sat on the sun terrace. Friendly staff. The food was extremely fast and the half a chicken and chips exceptionally tasty. Beautiful washrooms. Could not fault the place itself, but I don't like carrying cash.

You do have to be quite fit to get here in the summer. A red hiking route but you do feel rewarded when you get there. We all ate traditional Austrian food for lunch when there and we were well rewarded for our climb.

Group of us went here in Jan18 and it was excellent. The food was excellent, the service was fast and everything felt traditional. Overall I really enjoyed it.
