We went for an early dinner and were welcomed in a very friendly manner. We ordered the ribs which came as very substantial portions. The waiters were pleasant and accommodating towards us. We felt it was great value for money and the place has a great atmosphere for a bar/restaurant. We will definitely be back!

Very nice dinner, Great menu and many menu options. Very big portions and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The dinning room is very clean and nicely decorated. Plenty of seating inside and out. Prices are priced just right for location and serving size. Something for everyone.

We stopped there at the end of a popular trail. The food was Ok but the service was simply bad. For example- when a bee fell into my beer- the waitress said "not my problem". Sums it up..Dear Costumer,This year there are a great amount on bees in our region. It is very diffcult to protect every guest's drinks off the bees, but we give our best that you have an enjoyable stay at our restaurant. I am really sorry if the waitress had a bad behavior against you. Normally we counter our guests the most friendly way. If you would like to read some other coments, you will see that the day of your visit was an unhappy exeption.

Arrived tired after driving for 9 hours from Reims. Good Austrian food, local delicacies available, along with normal pub food, Pizzas etc. Local wine and beer were good, service was excellent. Nice young Austrian lady has just taken it over and was attentive. Good outside area, we stayed in the rooms up stairs which were basic but met out needs. This was a great value stay and met all our needs. Huge pool / lido next door if you have kids.

Since 1843 we, Family Rosian & Team, have been taking care of our guests. Our cozy restaurant, theevent hall and the new Weinstube are an ideal setting for celebrations and events of all kinds. A variety of meals along with the extensive wine list invite
We really enjoyed our meal here. We sat in the bar area to the right of the entrance. I had pork Schnitzel with a side salad and my husband ate a Beef stew which was listed as roast beef. Both meals were excellent, reasonable prices.

In a rustic atmosphere offers fine regional and Mediterranean cuisine is celebrated at its best - and just this apparent contradiction makes the Oberforsthof Alm in the Alpine village so popular.
We have been coming here for many years. It had a great ambience and good traditional Austrian cuisine. Our most recent visit was very disappointing. The menu had been changed to trendier items that were typical of any'trendy' eating place elsewhere in Europe. Sorry Oberforsthof, but you have lost your identity and will lose customers who come to Austria for something unique to the culture. The ambience and service was still there as before but the food was no better than average. You have lost your heritage. We do not plan to return.

Outstanding dishes with or without wine pairing and excellent view of the snowy mountains. Own wine cellar filled with the very best of Austria from Bründlmayer to Gesellmann, Ott, Poeckl, Sabathi, Tschida, Vereinte Winzer Horitschon, Kracher etc. Newly built and renovated ambience in modern Alpine style. We loved the warm design and decorations as well as Vitus' skilled team. What a refugium for sophisticated people. Chapeau for 3 Hauben Gault Millau. My partner and I went for dinner having had a beer earlier in the day and seeing that they had game on the menu. The menu was given to us in English and we each chose a venison dish being very clear that we wanted the steak as the dish underneath was rolled in hazelnuts and my partner is anaphylactic. They said they only had one steak so I chose something different. When they came out they had given my partner the dish rolled in hazelnuts, I called the waiter over and tried to explain that it was wrong and that my partner is allergic to nuts and I just got a shrug! In the end we swapped meals as it didnât look like they were going to do anything about it. The food was okay, small portions with no vegetables and still got charged full price even though it was a more expensive dish which we hadnât asked for! Funnily enough we wonât be going back!
